If I could do negative stars I would. I bought my car from here back in 2022, problems from the first month; impossible to get in touch with them, no one there when we went. How I ended up in this situation was I totaled my car in an accident and he knew I was desperate for a new one when I went to Kia in goose creek. He, Andy Todd, was working, told me I couldn’t afford any of their cars and then walked me up front to a car from his lot that he drove to work that had his part time DJing equipment in it. I ended up getting a large loan from my bank ($13k) and purchased the car only for it to start having problems a month later. I didn’t get a warranty due to the cost of the loan/car which is my only fault in this mess but I was 24 years old. I’ve put over $8k in repairs and engine work over the last two years.
Last year when I went to trade the POS in, I was informed that the car had a salvaged title, miles were incorrect and the paperwork I had for the car did not match the paperwork the DMV had. I was told after I was about to trade it in, credit ran and all that my car that I owe thousands on is actually only worth $1,500. Since I waited a year to trade it in, it was past the lemon law.
Andy Todd is a fraud and a swindler. This company is a joke.

I bought a used Lexus SUV from Johnny about a month ago. Yes, it had some work I needed to do on it, but I think people should know when they they're buying a used car at a low price, as is, they're going to have to spend a little to fix it up. If I had wanted to have it all checked out first and didn't, that's on me. I just don't think they deserve such a low overall rating, it's a small dealership and they don't have a ton of bad cars sitting there that they're trying to push on anyone. I know it's frustrating when you get a used car and it has some issues, but at least you're not overpaying like at a lot of places, and they don't even charge the $500 closing fees and other nonsense that other places do. I'm satisfied would buy from them again. Don't let sour grapes reviews keep you from checking them out, that's just my opinion.

If I could give zero stars I would! Owner Art Cope is very shady, ignores phone calls and doesn’t try to resolve a customer’s issue in a professional manner. The sales man plays as if he doesn’t know anything meanwhile he is in charge of the day to day! They claim they have a mechanic who is not reliable, so why hire him. DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR FROM THIS LOT! Go to CARMAX! This place shouldn’t even be allowed to finance a vehicle, it’s sad that they would put someone in debt with a loan company just to sell them a vehicle that isn’t worth it!

Bought a 2015 Chevy Cruze and 4 days later the coolant was disappearing from its reservoir and the engine began having random multiple misfires. It hasn’t been 3 weeks I’ve had it yet and I can’t even get the car started. I haven’t been able to get much help from the dealership at all. I wouldn’t advise anyone to shop here

Very poor customer service or care. This lot will tell you whatever to sell you a problematic vehicle and after that it’s your problem. The owner doesn’t care he just wants your money. The mechanic is never on site and the salesman seems genuine but is just as crooked. DONT waste your time with a place like this it’s bad business!!!

This lot is very unprofessional. You may get stuck with a vehicle that doesn’t run and if that happens good luck getting any help from the staff. They will leave you out to dry and try to avoid contact with you by ignoring calls text etc. please don’t waste your time or money here

The staff and owner of West Ashley Motors were great to deal with and a real pleasure.. they delivered an excellent product at a fair price and did everything they said they would do. I found them to be very honest. Would highly recommend without hesitation.

What nice guys, when you can buy a quality car and meet a friend you have done something. If you need a great running vehicle then this is the place to go.
