I was literally dying for a place to use the bathroom. I came in to buy stuff earlier in the morning and later that day I really needed to use the bathroom. I had a friend say that someone allowed him to use the bathroom but when I went it I was denied that there was any bathroom at all by a lady. I was down here for vacation and honestly been welcomed by many friendly people but definitely not in there.

I have used this location twice in a few days while here on vacation. Not sure if this is a South Carolina thing or something just at this store....it is impossible to get a receipt! First time I was told I would get an email - which I never received. Second time I asked the cashier and he had to call a manager (name was Yvette) who told me they can't print me a receipt....what? First off - you need to call a manager and hold up the line for a paper receipt?? Seriously??!! Best part she wasn't even nice about it - said no before she she even heard the request - no apology for the inconvenience- nada.

So I love how big the drugstore is and how much stuff the other fellow Walgreens doesn't have but it's still not my favorite. I'll go here if I have to but here are some of the flaws. It looks like it's gonna shut down like tomorrow. They have generators all over and the lights flickering so much that someone could have a sezure. I'm pretty sure they have these problems because of how big the drugstore is and that they aren't probably not making enough money that they need. Also the lines are extremely long since there are barely any cashiers available most of the time. This is my critique of the Walgreens on king street.

This is a wonderful Walgreens in the heart of Charleston's historic district. They have a little bit of everything here and more! I read one prior reviewer note they allowed her to bring her dog in the store - a perk for dog lovers. What will you find at this larger than usual store: *Pharmacy *A small, yet nice, selection of domestic red, white, rose wines and champagne. *Beer-domestic and craft *Plenty of Charleston memorabilia - calendars, tervis cups, koozies, *Grocery section to include refrigeratedFreezer items such as milk, juices, eggs, ice cream and more. *Seasonal gift items and gift wrap. *Toys *Magazines *Pet supplies *Electronics. *Umbrellas *Make up, beauty, skin care

Typical Walgreens they have some different options beach wear, some local clothing/snacks. It was actually a life saver because all the grocery stores close early due to covid and this was the only place open where you can grab a variety of things. 4 stars only because it's more pricey then your average Walgreens. I guess it's because of the location?

Walgreens King Street Market is a great place for all the necessities you need to get by. It is centrally located in the middle of Charleston at King and Calhoun Street so it it easy to walk to from everywhere. I like that they have a food and drink section that has a lot of the essentials. It also has a Charleston local gift section for Charleston gifts that are at better prices than some other local stores. I needed to get a passport photo so I can continue being international and they took care of me right away with no wait. This Walgreens is one of my favorites.

We ran into Walgreens to grab some shampoo and conditioner for my daughter as we forgot them on the way down here. I saw that my favorite rose was only $12.99 and I decided to grab a bottle. I get to the register to pay for everything and the cashier tells me that she'll have to call her manager as they can not sell me my rose if my daughter is with me and under 21....huh??? So the manager comes and right from the start is rude and condescending. He tells me that my daughter looks like she could be 21 and he will not allow me to buy it with her being with me. I asked him where I was supposed to send my daughter and I couldn't understand why I couldn't buy myself something. He refused and asked me to leave the store. I am honestly dumbfounded! It's 80 degrees outside and humid and apparently I was supposed to have my daughter stay outside while I tried to by rose. Very disappointed!

What a crap hole. Dirty. One person working. Waited in line for almost 30 minutes. Go to CVS a few blocks away!

2/25/19 I have not ever had a bad experience here! The pharmacy staff is so friendly, helpful and polite! It doesn't hurt that it is a pleasant walk from my house which is a win-win. Should the time come that I am too sick to walk or just being flat lazy, it is also comforting to know that they will deliver FREE of charge! They offer express pay so I don't even need to drag my purse for the journey!

I am 57 years old with grey hair. They refused to sell me a bottle of wine even though I had two pieces of government issued photo ID. Since I was from Canada, two of the cashiers said I need to show a passport. I don't even need a passport to enter the United States. Never will shop at Walgreens again and I did shop at Walgreens in Novi Michigan were I work all the time.

Quick and convenient shopping access for tourist. The cashier was pleasant to talk with about the area since I was visiting for a work conference.

Nice a little on the high end on the prices because it being a tourist location but it's 24 hours and in the middle of everything and it has basically everything you need. Like I said it is over priced compared to other Walgreens so 4 stars for that
