Absolute scammers. Quoted me and mentioned the ONLY amount we ever discussed was $400. I drop the car off, explain the exact tint I want done, we walked the car and I never heard anything different payment wise. Showed up to pick the car back up and the total is $700+. Manager even mentioned he "SHOULD" of called me and told me before he did the install, but still did the job and charges me for it. Reduces the price like $100 since he 'forgot' to call and let me know. He keeps my keys and offers me some credit options to pay it off if I wasn't able to pay the total that day. I end up just paying it so I could leave but they have the recording of my phone call and I mention the extra windows we discuss and the manager not once corrected the price they quoted me , but I was thankfully on a group call with some friends who were streaming so we have the entire conversation where he admits to having the only TOTAL of $400 written down for me at the start, and failing to notify me the amount had changed. I was never notified of anything else but the service was done and I was forced to pay for it to get my keys back. I'll be taking this recording and the receipt as well as the recorded call to Small Claims as I spoke with Charleston Police Dept and that is what they recommended after showing them and allowing them to hear the recordings as well. *DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY* I will not be removing this review either, because this is wrong and if you choose to do business with them make sure you CLARIFY the costs and rates not only over the phone but in person. Insanely, insanely shady and I'll be seeing from them soon and it looks like I wasn't the first to have this happen to them. Please just spend the extra and go to Sunstoppers. Much more professional and would never be shady and condensing as the manager tried to put it on me because I did not want to pay more than what we agreed to prior to me coming to the shop.

Never Never Never use this place. My wife took her Acura MDX (which had blacked out trim and rims) to this place because the blacked out trim had started peeling. We figured that a professional shop would be able to somehow strip the trim and rewrap with new wrap. We brought the car in for an estimate and the individual who looked at the car, said it would not be easy, but that he could probably do the job in a day and a half. Sometime later, my wife brought the car in thinking it would be there for a day and a half and 1 week to the day later the car was “ready” to be picked up. So in a nutshell, we had to rent a car for a whole week which we had not anticipated doing. They also peeled as much as they could off the old trim, and then just apparently sprayed some sort of a material over the peeled wrap. You can imagine what this looks like. I spoke to the individual at their shop after seeing the job and asked why they just didn’t call and say this job is not gonna go the way we thought here are some options. Instead, they did a subpar job to put it mildly. We are totally unhappy and would never recommend this to anyone anyone. Not to mention being treated, attempted to get some satisfaction from the company. It’s sad that people have to operate their business this way.

I have been a customer with tint world in 3 different states and 11 different vehicles and I love them all. Drew and his team have been the most enjoyable to work with, and No question about 5 star Customer service experience. The 5 stars do not stop at just customer service with Drew and Destiny though. I personally have been restoring a 20 year old truck that isn’t my primary vehicle, but after the work we have done together I want to drive it everyday! I went in to get a quote for a head until upgrade, and had a long laundry list of other items I was doing myself. Seat cushion replacements, headliner install, back
Up camera and more! I had to leave the truck with them for an extra week being that I was out of town for business. During that time, they were kind enough to notice the replacement parts in the back seat and offered to work them into their schedule that week in order to have it all completed upon my return. Drew and Destiny are a vehicle service dream team. Their Communication, progress updates, invoicing, timing and consideration are ALL 5 stars.

I have been to tint world multiple times, overall having them install a front lip, side skirts, and a rear diffuser. They went the extra mile to alleviate any fitment issues, allowed for constant feedback to make sure it comes out the way you want it to, and made sure all old parts and hardware were returned to me. Will be going back for any future installments.

This is the second time I went to tint world fist time for my 2023 nisan Rouge had the windshield and both frt windows done hands down awesome what a big difference it made cause my wife has sensitive skin she drives it So I went back to have my 2021 Silverado windshield done omg no more burnt knees thank you tint world for the quality work you do

I am extremely grateful and happy with the wrap Tint World: Charleston has done for my car. Professional, Turn Around Time is quick, the end result is insane and they are also Veteran Supportive! I have some pictures of it, but honestly it doesn’t do it justice for how it looks in person. Keep up the good work guys. I will be back VERY soon and will be sending some work from the guys in the car community that need stuff done.

Worth the cost for two front windows tinted to match rears. Staff friendly and explained the process, as well as answered questions I had about chrome delete options I was looking into. Will certainly go back when the time comes to do that, and the vinyl examples were amazing.What displays in their wait room is just a start, counter assistance was amazing and explained what they can workWith your cars color.
