Your staff was escorting a funeral procession from Henry E Brown BLVD towards 526 and Rhett and violated multiple traffic laws. This included running red lights, blocking red lights intersections, harassing other drivers, running in oncoming lanes, splitting lanes between vehicles, speeding, and riding in the middle of lanes, all without ANY police escorts. I reported this to the North Charleston PD, the mayor's office, and the States Atty General's office. I understand grieving families, but you have absolutely no excuse to have almost caused multiple traffic accidents.

My name is Bethane Middleton-Brown. I am the sister of the late Rev. DePayne V. Middleton who was one of the Emanuel 9 killed in Mother Emanuel Church on June 17, 2015. This was a hard time for me and my family. I want to give great thanks to Palmetto Funeral Home for a superb job. They were very supportive and attentive to our needs and went above and beyond to give our beloved fallen angel a very intimate and heartfelt home going service. I felt their services displayed the meaning of the poem Footprints as I felt they carried us when we were experiencing the most vulnerable time in our lives possible. We are forever grateful for the astute services they provided that got us through such a tragic experience. We are still not where we can take one day at a time due to the severity of our pain, but they have contributed to our ability to take one breath at a time, pressing on with patience and guidance that God has warranted us via my beautiful sister's spirit."I can do all things through Jesus Christ who strengthens me."
