I had an excellent experience at this branch working with Terrell. He is the ultimate professional. In just five minutes, I was able to accomplish everything I was there for. I believe he has a great future in the banking industry. I have worked with many people at different locations, and his qualities are really impressive. The entire atmosphere at the branch is very inviting too.

The local branch is lovely, however the bank itself and the services they offer, especially online, are a joke. They need to get with the times.

Quite disappointed in this bank and the experience we had. I do want to start off saying that the branch, which is in West Ashley, did everything they could to help my partner and I out and we have no negative feelings towards them.We opened our checking account online on 12/12/22 and used their online method to make our initial deposit. Two days later, our account was locked with no indication as to why. Every time we called the customer service, we were told the account was fine but that we needed to go into the branch. No other information. We were able to get into the branch by the 16th and left frustrated and with no information. We were told that someone higher up than the branch manager blocked our account, but was unavailable to talk at the moment. A few hours later that same day, the branch manager called us back to let us know the only information that she had was that it had to do something with how the account was funded, nothing else. We called customer care on the 16th, who told us a letter would be sent explaining the situation and next steps.To this day, almost a month later, we have not received any letter stating this information, still in the dark, and even more frustrated. We did, however, receive our debit cards (which we could not use). We closed the account on Friday 01/06/2022 and will never - ever - recommend Synovus not any friends or family.

DO NOT GET THIS BANK THEY CHARGE ME FOR SENDING MONEY FROM MY SAVINGS TO MY CHECKING ACCOUNT WORST BANK EVER TGAT GOES FOR ANY SYNOVUS BANK AND I HAD A BANK ACCOUNT SINCE I WAS 16 YEARS OLD!!!!!

The worst bank ever!!!!!!! They will hang up the phone on you, give misinformation and lie to your face. I never went through the craziness with any bank until I started banking with synovous. The worst bank to have your money in people. Run away far from this bank
