Ryan @ Safe Harbor Charleston City was amazing and very helpful. We managed to dock with no steering and he did not hesitate to make calls and sort out parts for us that late in the afternoon. Thanks to his help and support we where able to get the steering issue solved and back on our way with little to no time loss.

I went fishing here. I caught the tide low, so it wasn't much happening. There is a gas station on the premises that I use for snacks and drinks, when needed. Beautiful area.

I have to say at first we were really excited about docking we rarely do so. But our generator was hosed and we needed some AC. We are a mooring ball or anchoring out boat because of our size and lack of bow thruster. We are on a side tie at the end of the mega dock. Our boat hasn't stopped moving since we got here. There is so much boat traffic we are in a constant state of rolling, if its not boat traffic its the chop. Coming in we were hoping the dock hand would keep us from whacking the side of the dock but no, we hit hard. Not very happy with the entire experience.

Beautiful scenery, great view of the water, complete with grasses growing. It's easy to see why South Carolina grows so much rice.

We were placed on the Mega Dock. That is where all the big boats are placed. Our small boat just filled in a gap. Great staff. Shuttle was a great help and a first.
