Best fried chicken. Nuff said. Never expected grocery store chain to have such good fried chicken but locals recommended it.

Called to refill a prescription and within one minute I was told can be filled and ready for pick up in one hour.

This Publix is larger and nicer than many grocery stores in the area. It is laid out and arranged a bit differently than the Publix locations in West Ashley, but it's easy to find essentials like groceries, pharmacy, and of course, Publix Subs. It is also a great stop for those from out of town heading to Folly Beach. The buy one get one free specials and Club Publix electronic coupons can save you a lot of money. If you're not already in Club Publix rewards, you can enroll with your phone number. However, you do not need to be a member or "have a card" to get the sale prices here. Publix shares its parking lot with quite a few businesses, so at times you may need to park further away and walk.

Was having constant issues at Harris Teeter pharmacy. Had my Dr. start sending my refills here- no issues or problems since. Staff is friendly and helpful at this store!

If I could give zero stars I would. Phone regularly hangs up on you while trying to reach an associate. Terrible service.

Nice place and location. Clean place with some deals. It offers organic items and non-toxic options.

They were missing many items I went looking for: vermicelli noodles, sriracha, and unsalted pistachios (I didn't see even salted pistachios in the nut aisle). The prices are higher when compared to Harris Teeter for things on my normal list: bagged salad mixes, frozen shrimp, and english cucumbers.

My wife was in the hospital for pneumonia and was given two prescriptions as she was being discharged. One was for an antibiotic, which was erroneously written for 3 times the strength as intended by the attending physician. We took the prescriptions to Dr. Puja Weatherford who immediately recognized the error. Subsequently, she called the physician and had the prescription corrected. The overdose could have killed my wife. Then Dr. Weatherford warned my wife that the second prescription should not be taken with alcohol, a salient fact that the physician's staff didn't mention. Although my wife doesn't drink, she and I were comforted by Dr. Weatherford's keen pharmacy acumen and ethics. We felt that she was there for us beyond just filling a prescription.I receive all my vaccinations from Dr. Weatherford, as she is so pleasant, professional, and bright. Although there are more convenient pharmacies for my wife and I to use, we want all of our pharmacy and vaccine needs to be met by Dr. Weatherford, a woman that we implicitly trust.. I recommend Dr. Weatherford to all my family and friends.

Do not go here. Dr. Weatherford is her name. She and the pharmacist tech were just awful. I stood there for five minutes without any acknowledgement. They’re busy. I understand. But, nothing. Then it was disgruntled, attitude, couldn’t be bothered disdain at my mere presence… the entire time. When I asked the pharmacist where my other medication was as she passed me my bag she said quite loudly (so the other patron behind me heard my medication) “We already told you we are out of blank drug.” And I said I know…she then cuts me off loudly again and said I already talked to Dr. Roberts. Identifying my meds and my physician. Again. So I had to cut her off and say I’m talking about my statin. “Oh. Well. It was cancelled.” Do you know why? Attitude city. I know a pharmacists job sucks and when you read this don’t think I didn’t know how you were treating me or why you were treating me the we way you were. You assumptions are wrong. And shame on you MS. Weatherford. I will be going to Dottie’s pharmacy moving forward where I’m always treated like a person.

I went to the Publix pharmacy today to get my vaccine, I called ahead of time to make an appointment but the lady said if I could come in now I would not need an appointment. So I came in, signed all the paperwork, they said they needed my insurance card which I provided but I guess it was the wrong one. I apologized and tried to find the correct one but that’s the only card I could find on my company website. The pharmacist, Dr. Puja Weatherford, told me she could look it up, she looked it up and gave me the information and then said I needed to wait an hour. Nobody else was in line, one other set people came to get their vaccination which she gave to him and his mother right away (they said they did not have an appointment either.) I sat and waited my turn but I just feel like it was out of spite and unprofessional. It would have been one thing if it were for a consult but it was for my vaccination which made it difficult when you feel uncomfortable and like you’ve angered the person providing the vaccine to you. I hope Dr. Puja Weatherford was just having an off day and it was an isolated incident, but I won’t be returning.

Love this location! The staff is always so polite!, even when I was running late (by accident) past their closing time. Noone rushed me to hurry to get in line (though I wouldn't have blamed them if they had), & throughout the check out process (after closing), they kept a smile, thanked me, & helped with my groceries. That is what customer service should look like!! Many thanks to the Publix staff at Merchants Village.

I have been coming to the Publix Pharmacy at Merchant’s Village for years now, and I am just about done with the disrespect and attitude I have received from multiple pharmacists. I understand their job is difficult and requires a lot of energy throughout the day, but the eye rolling, sighing, and negative tone of voice does not match the attitude of the rest of Publix’s helpful employees.
