We used the Petaloso team for our wedding - I wanted the wedding to feel like you were in an enchanted spring garden and she achieved exactly what I was look for you. The flowers were spectacular - from the giant arch for our ceremony, the stunning ceremony aisle, the dance floor floral chandelier, and cascading flowers down our long tables - it was a fairytale of flowers everywhere we looked. She took our inspiration and nailed what we were going for. Her team is so talented. Our wedding was a few weeks ago, and our guests are still talking about how beautiful the flowers were!! Can't thank her enough for making my flower dreams come true!

Wow wow wowwwww. One of the, if not THE, best florists in Charleston, but also in general. In a city saturated with similar businesses, you aren't going to find better. Lori is an angel of a human being and soooo easy to work with. I just love how chill she is. Such a breath of fresh air in wedding planning. But her TALENT is out of this world. I'm extremelyyyyy picky, and her work is just incredible. She truly sets the bar for floral art perfection. Just when you think you've seen her best work, she keeps creating masterpieces. Some of the coolest, most unique arrangements and art(!) I've ever seen. Absolute 10/10, 10000% recommend.

I cannot speak highly enough of Lori and her team. Lori went above and beyond to create the most gorgeous floral arrangements for my wedding.
With the help of Emma at Emma Ivey Events, Lori was able to create my dream floral aesthetic. We discussed colors, flower types, overall decor and design and I cannot put into words how beautiful everything turned out. Lori is so knowledgeable and genuinely treats your opinions and visions with the upmost respect and careful consideration.
If you want to have your fairytale wedding come to life - please do not hesitate to reach out to Lori. Working with Lori was one of the best and easiest decisions we made in planning our wedding. I only wish I could do it all again with her!

Where do I even begin?!?! These were my exact words to Lori at Petaloso, after our wedding...
"The smoke has settled on our wedding weekend, so I finally have a moment to thank you. You are absolutely incredible!! When I say that you nailed my vision, I mean NAILED IT. It was exactly what I wanted and MORE!! I was floored when I saw all of the arrangements. People have not stopped talking about them, posting them, complementing you and your team. If our guests were from the area, you would have had nothing to break down at the end of the night!! Your eye for color and shape is just beyond perfect. You are so gifted I can't get over it!! What you created for us was worth every penny and if I could have you at my house everyday, I would!"
A lot of people will try to dissuade you from have flowers in your budget, but I wholeheartedly disagree. The flowers made our wedding! Lori at Petaloso is absolutely an artist and it shows! We have not stopped getting compliments on her work. Make room in your budget for this team. You will not regret it!

I would say that Lori and the Petaloso team made our dreams come true but it would be more accurate to say they dreamed bigger and better than I ever could have. We wanted funky, fun, organic blooms and Lori not only served has our floral consultant but really helped us visualize our full venue and how our flowers could help create different vibes between venues (dance floor, dinner, ceremony). We asked Lori for so much that went way beyond her scope of work: floral ceremony bracelets, a flower comb for our minister’s hair, amaranth draping over the dance floor (SO GOOD), herbs for the escort cards. She was there, hand in hand throughout the process. We connected, I told her what I wanted, she said “I’ve got this” (even though our aesthetic was untraditional) and she NAILED IT. Team Petaloso for life ❤️

Lori and her team are INCREDIBLE. The flowers turned out STUNNING and truly made our wedding day better than we could have imagined!!Lori is so incredible to work with because she is so kind and easy going and can take some inspiration photos and a vision board and make it exactly what you want. We gave Lori full autonomy on types of flowers and variations on color and she worked her MAGIC!!!!I wish we lived closer so we could have her flower all of our events and special life moments.

Petaloso picks and choses when and where to take creative license without providing clients suggestions or hints into how they plan to bring your vision to life.We hired Petaloso to be our wedding florist. I watched my wife spend hundreds of hours putting together documents for the florist first in a narrative and then in detailed piece by piece color and look inspiration slide deck when design direction wasn't followed. Petaloso needed two attempts at creating mock ups for our centerpieces yet on our wedding day they still ignored our color palette in most of the larger arrangements.Petaloso charged for items not delivered that were detailed in the quote. We paid for bud vases to be placed between larger centerpieces which did not happen. There were many changes and design liberties made to the overall intent without first confirming that they were acceptable. Many of the liberties taken by the company added more candles then we asked for and added denser arrangements than we wanted which greatly increased the overall event cost.I would caution anyone that has a clear vision to utilize another florist as they will not follow direction or provide the arrangements you would want.

Choosing vendors for one of the biggest investments of your life is much like choosing a life partner, and as an event professional myself, I was very intentional & selective with the vendor team I chose for my own wedding. I had been stalking Petaloso’s Insta for months so I was already obsessed…then came my phone consultation with Lori - we instantly clicked and I knew that she was the one! Having been in the event industry for 10+ years, I’ve seen it all, and continued to see things on social media in the months leading to my wedding that would distract me from what was most important to me - a clean and timeless, yet modern vibe - but Lori had the most incredible, calming energy that always brought me back to my original vision and reminded me why I hired a professional!!! I truly cannot recommend Lori and the entire Petaloso team - they are all talented, passionate, and just damn good people and I just don’t think there are words to express my gratitude to each one of them for bringing my wedding vision to fruition and truly making it the most incredible day of my life. I have friends and family still talking about the flowers MONTHS later..and for real y’all…that was the goal. I wanted people to feel floral envy..and my wish came true. Look no further, no one compares to Petaloso!

Lori is a literal floral GENIUS! She went above and beyond to make my wedding so magical. I had a lot of pictures and inspo for things that I liked for my wedding, and she patiently walked me through how to ensure the designs I wanted fit the budget I had. She is extremely knowledgable about all things flowers and I could have never requested the stunning work that she and her very friendly staff did that blew myself, my husband and my guests away. I genuinely can't recommend her enough and am forever grateful for choosing her to flower my wedding.

Lori and her team made our wedding beyond what we could have asked for! Planning a wedding out of state, I was extremely stressed about choosing florals and vases without seeing options in person. Lori asked all of the right questions, sent photos as examples, and captured exactly what we wanted on our wedding day. The florals caught the eyes of every guest and was one of the main topics of conversation!! She gave us more than we could have imagined and was extremely kind and easy to work with. Lori and her team did an absolutely amazing job with the flowers for our wedding. From our very first meeting with Lori to all of our emails throughout the planning process, Lori was the BEST to work with. She listened to our ideas and let us know all of the possibilities - but her final product just really blew us away. Everything was so stunning - all of our guests commented that the flowers were so beautiful they couldn't believe they were real! Our flowers were our favorite part of our wedding and working with Lori made the planning part so exciting. You can tell she really puts her heart and soul into what she does. She truly has a gift - I would absolutely recommend Petaloso for all of your wedding floral needs!
