I can’t say enough great things about Noddy! Whenever I visit Charleston I always make a point to stop in and see what’s new. The owner always remembers me and asks how my kids are doing! This year I brought my girlfriends with me and they fell in love with the store too!
My girlfriend Kate spotted these awesome beaded espadrilles with Anna monogrammed on them. She was thrilled to learn she could have them personalized for herself. So now she’s the proud owner on “Kate” espadrilles and a matching beaded clutch!
The shop has fun gifts, beautiful jewelry and handbags, as well as some great local artwork. Last Christmas when I was in town we had just lost our pupper, Francis. One of the artists makes these beautiful valet trays. She happened to be in the store that day and heard me talking about Francis. Long story short, I am now the owner of a one of a kind “Francis” tray she painted from the last dear photo we had of her—something I will always cherish.

OVER priced. Nothing is made locally from Charleston and everything is purchased from an online retailer. A made the mistake of purchasing an item from this store because of ego and how I was greeted by the owner of this store. If, I can spare just one person from going into this ”cute” store and buying anything or supporting this business then great. Even if no one acknowledges this review. Go on Amazon, you will have better customer service there! Oh and they don’t do returns. They will give you a store credit instead of YOUR money back. More red flags !
I highly recommend that you think twice about buying or supporting this business. I have a low tolerance for people that rip people off by overpricing things and horrible customer service, especially if you are the owner of the business. So if you want to support a local artist and local Charleston businesses. Go to the Mills house and support a talented local artist ( REBECCA illustrated )and her shop. I promise you her stuff is way better than what you would get in this store.

Cute shop full of treasures and novelties. Great for gift giving and elevated souvenirs of your visit to Charleston. Plus the A/C felt wonderful on post-dinner stroll. ?

Cute store but the person working was super rude. Would have bought several things from there, but got the feeling that she didn't want us in there at all. We were never greeted and it's a tiny store, so it was really odd. I've worked in retail for years and managed a high end furniture boutique and would NEVER treat my customers like we were treated. As we left, we said bye in a friendly tone and received a scowl. This lady does NOT need to be working with the public.

So incredibly rude. We were looking at purses but saw the tea towels and said we should show a friend of ours. I wouldn’t have bought the VULGAR cheap tea towels, but would have purchased jewelry and a nice purse. Had the owner not basically chased us out of the store. So much for southern hospitality!!!

Cute store but the lady behind the desk was incredibly rude. I'm assuming she was the owner. It was the first store we entered coming out of the parking garage which dampened the mood for a short period. Definitely not the southern hospitality you receive at other Charleston shops.

Such an adorable shop!I always make a point to stop in and see what’s new!Beautiful jewelry and handbags as well as fun gift items. I keep a stock of their funny towels and cocktail napkins for hostess gifts!They even have gifts for men. I just got my boyfriend a fun camouflage faux fur flask. He loved it! Said he wouldn’t be putting his Pappy Van Winkle in anything else!

I stopped in Noddy looking for a gift for my bestie! Needless to say I walked out with the perfect gift—gorgeous earrings and lots more!I bought a great tote with a fun saying that has become my go-to shopping/beach/whatever bag!The owner was in the day I stopped by and she was so charming and helpful!It turns out we have mutual friends in Charlotte! Very fun store with funny stuff! Staff also helped give recommendations of restaurants in the area and things to do while we were in town.
