This is a great place to stay. It’s walkable to all the tourist spots and to great restaurants. The staff is friendly and helpful. The valet parking is reasonably priced and convenient. The hot tub is large and was always clean. We used it at night, around 9, and there were not towels but we got extra bath towels from housekeeping to use. The only issue we had was with a/c. We had a room with 2 double beds, and the air hit against the side of the bed. We ended up pushing the beds further from the unit and it cooled the room nicely.

Quite the charming hotel in downtown Charleston. You really can walk to all the places you need to from here. The staff was wonderful and the service they provided was excellent. Truly top notch. The breakfast was good with a decent variety. We really liked the cheese/fruit/cracker spread in the evening. It was actually our dinner one night. The cookies before bed is a nice touch. The rooms are not huge, but the website is clear about the size and amenities. The hotel has a rich history and has been renovated several times over. That said, the rooms do not have central AC. There is a window unit in each room and it did well for mid-May, but it may not keep up in August. For the price, I’d still stay there though. The bathrooms are modern and nice. The water was hot and the shower pressure was great. All in all, it was a delightful stay, and we will stay there again the next time we stop in Charleston.

Great price for being downtown near the Market areas.Staff is extremely helpful and friendly.Rooms: 2 chairs, bed, TV , but very quant and relaxingSafety: Has valet parking or park in the parking garage 2-3 blocks away. It’s a $10 differenceFood & drinks: Walking distance to nearby restaurants

We stayed here three nights. The location and service staff were great. The rooms are dark, dusty and in ill repair. The mattress was awful. Whoever owns it needs to update the mattresses, lampshades and TV’s. The TV is tiny and the window air conditioner going off and on makes listening difficult.

A change of pace from the normal chain hotels me and my wife stay at when we visit Charleston. I felt it was overpriced, but you are paying for old southern charm. The location is great in reference to the downtown area, but i didn't like the parking situationRooms: Very datedNearby activities: The city market is right out the front door and its close to the battery and rainbow rowWalkability: Good location for exploring downtownFood & drinks: Good breakfast.. lots of hospitality

The Meeting Street Inn is lovely! The courtyard is beautiful, and the location is perfect—right in walking distance of some of the best restaurants and downtown activities. The desk staff was also very accommodating, helping us out on a hectic day when we had a flight to catch right after a wedding. Highly recommend!

This is a gem! It's a beautiful inn with friendly staff. They had wine and cheese in the lobby the afternoon we arrived, followed by hot cocoa and cookies before turning in for the night. In the morning, they have breakfast until 10. The rooms were beautiful. We slept in a room with two double canopied beds. The location is perfect and within walking distance to the market, shops and many restaurants. They have a beautiful outside courtyard that has a large jaccuzi and tables where you can bring food or drinks to. They valet your car for you, which is wonderful. I highly recommend this inn.

We had a great stay at the Meeting Street Inn! The staff were so friendly and accommodating. My sister is in a wheelchair, and every time we would arrive back from site seeing, Mike was offering to help us or grab a door for us. The breakfast selection, evening wine & charcuterie, and late night cookie bar were all wonderful perks that we enjoyed during our stay! The rooms were cozy and a great reminder of the history of the building. We look forward to staying here again in the future!

Very affordable price for a location so close to the main attraction. The quality of all their products was very high and the ambience was well suited for Charleston. We really appreciated the wine & hot chocolate sessions. Breakfast looked very simple yet the food quality was really good. Meeting Inn knows what is good class!! Will definately be back.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was OUTSTANDING! We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor seating area in the courtyard. The room was wonderful, comfortable and spacious. The staff was kind, accommodating and helpful. The wine & cheese "happy hour" each evening was very nice. It's in the perfect location and within walking distance of so many iconic Charleston spots. Truly the perfect place to be!

This hotel presents that southern charm and then some. Stayed here for a girl trip and loved this spot for it walkability but the people were the kindest and attentive loved the value that it came with continental breakfast and then off to explore the city. Our room had the cutest terrace that made a lovely reading nook. They even had lemonade and wine and cheese time in the afternoon and stocked it with beers and other her beverages for later. It was just lovely. Highly recommend!

Great little place to stay while visiting Charleston. Very convenient to everything. Quant and comfortable with super friendly staff. Nice breakfast and wine n cheese in the afternoons. Close to all the best restaurants and you don't need a rental car for anything.
