Wish I could give this man more than 5 stars. John Israel was very patient and professional throughout my whole claims process! I will definitely tell others about the fast service I was given before the holidays

John Israel has the absolute worst customer service I have ever encountered. I called the office today and told him I needed to see what I could do to drop my insurance around $100. Right off the bat he told me I could not. I knew that was not true so I told him I wanted to take a look into my pollicy- sure enough we were able to drop may policy over the requested $100. I will spare you the details but the numbers I had in-front of me from the statement I reviewed in the mail were different than the numbers than he gave me but I dealt with it- I could tell he was unhappy that I refused to just accept his initial no but the truth is the higher quote was above my budget and if I were to stay with State Farm I was going to have to adjust. Any time in the past with any other agent I have worked (through several different insurance carriers) with they have been more than happy and accommodating. Not John- and this is where things got bad...The issue I have is this: I am not sure if he works on commission or if he was unwilling to look into my service because he didn't want to work but to tell me right off the bat I could not drop my policy was either laziness or he is someone who has no problem lying. This wasn't a case of him being new as I have worked with him in the past. This didn't even upset me- I was more annoyed at his unprofessional behavior but what followed is the reason I am writing this review and why after I change insurance companies I will never do business with this branch State Farm again- and I suggest for anyone who prefers to do business with a professional versus a grown man who is unable to regulate his own emotions- if this is how he conducts himself at work Im sure he is a complete nightmare to deal with on a personal level: After we got the price down to the amount I needed I simply started to say "Now see, we were able to get this down- sometimes people have to choose between a lower coverage and or no coverage at all" John immediately started interupting me and talking over me in an extremely condescending manner. It was like talking to a 14 year old whose parents never taught him manners. I was appalled. I kept trying to finish what I had to say (in hindsight I should have immediately cut off the conversation then and there as he clearly did not have the skill set of a social mature adult to continue) but he kept talking over me, getting louder and talking as fast as he could, including ranting I was the one cutting him off (because I was trying to finish my original sentence that he cut me off on). I have never had a customer service experience like that in my life. I have never even written a negative review or asked to talk to a manager in my life - because we all have bad days but Johns behavior really pushed the limits. The level of his unprofessional behavior was appalling. Why should I or anyone do business and give a commission to someone so incredibly nasty and unprofessional. I will admit after being interrupted several times I did lose my cool but to be fair I never expected to be dismissed (or lied to- who knows with this guy) or treated so unfairly when I was calling to adjust and pay a bill. I feel sorry for anyone who has to deal with that man child in any form or fashion until he can learn to regulate his emotions and talk to people with respect. Apparently he is unable to handle someone not taking no at face value and he acts out by bullying the conversation. This is behavior that my 14 year old child has already grown up from. If he had any sort of decency he should be ashamed of his behavior. I am thoroughly disgusted and dissipointed with this branch of State Farm.

Mary Joseph is an amazing person. Went to her office to inquire about home owners insurance, and she was very helpful and very informative. I felt like I was talking to a family member, not an insurance agent. I am so thankful I switched to her office.

You have to have car and home insurance, so it's best to go to someone you trust. I worked with Raymond Murray in the office and he was great. He worked with me until I was comfortable with my coverages.

Mary Joseph has ALWAYS been available whenever I have needed help. My parents have had her for years and I now I use her for my renters insurance. She is so helpful and kind. She even sent me a card and a gift card when I graduated high school. Highly recommend!!

I have been with Mary Joseph for about two years. Every time I call the agents are kind and knowledgeable. If someone is unsure about something they find the answers and return my calls quickly. This is by far the best insurance agency.

What an amazing experience with Mary Joseph State Farm Insurance Agency. The crazy thing is I almost did not call them. I researched the Agency and saw a negative review of bad customer service; nevertheless, I am moving from out of state & want an agent close to my new home. Their office is 5 minutes away. I thought let me inquiry online and see how quickly they get back to me.

She gets one star only because I have to so I can write a review. I have been a long time State Farm customer and this lady’s rude, snotty, and condescending. I would not recommend her to anyone. Worth going somewhere else.
