One of the employees is nice to work with for dry cleaning services, but then they made a mistake and lost a shirt of mine and now it's radio silence. Ignoring and not responding to phone calls and no concern or care to replace the shirt or anything. Would not use any Lyerly's location.

I have not used their service, per se, but have noticed who ever drives the vehicles is very dangerous behind the wheel. As I went to back into my driveway, the driver pulled from my neighbor's and almost hit my vehicle while driving way too fast thru the neighborhood. I hope they have a talk with said person as I cannot imagine any service being rushed to the point one would endanger other's lives for such. This happened on 1/30/23 at around 11:30 AM on a wet day, also. The neighborhood is down from Avondale. I called and left a voicemail, but came here to voice my concern also. It seems they don't have the best business practice with the 5 reviews already left for them.

I dropped off a very expensive Tibi dress to be dry cleaned about a month ago. The dress has been cleaned here before, but this time it came back with stains on it that weren’t there when I dropped it off. It almost looks like the fabric bled, but it didn’t bleed the other time I took it there. They cleaned it again and the stains didn’t go away. They said they had to wait for the owner to take a look at it and that they’d call me in a couple of days. I never heard from them and stopped back by only to be told that the owner had been sick and I again left without my dress. Today, 8/9/22, I get a call stating that they had some other “issues” and that the owner wanted to try one more thing to see if it would come out. If it still didn’t come out, they would go with option B. That option meant that I would need to go through my credit card statements to look for my receipt as I purchased the dress on sale several years ago. I went to retrieve my dress because a month of no answers or resolution was enough for me. I was told that I could get a $100 credit or they could make a claim…. Which equals more time. Why would I want a credit for a place I will no longer use???I’ve used this dry cleaners for years and have never had an issue. To say I’m dissatisfied is an understatement.

Both the staff and the owners are extremely nice and helpful. Love love how amazing my clothes look! First class place, first class service, first class people ....who could ask for more!?

I've used Lyerly's in the past. Yesterday, they went above and beyond for me and it is much appreciated. We needed a last minute emergency clean on a suit and shirt for my husband's interview. After telling them the situation, they were able to launder the clothes and have them ready for pick up in 24 hours. The stain we were concerned about is still slightly visible, but much better than before the cleaning! Excellent customer service. I definitely recommend them.

I took a number of shirts in for laundering and when I picked them up it appeared that they had followed my instructions for heavy starch. The only criticism I have is that they are only open until 3:30p.m. Monday through Friday.

$74.41 to clean 8 pair of pants. Dropped off Thursday morning 8:30am, they were not available for pick up until the following Wednesday. Too slow and too much money, but the staff is lovely. I’ll go somewhere else.

The worst they don't have my clothes on time then they say the truck was slow we will call you when they get here . They don't call now there closed on Sat and Sun This is the new one on highway 17!

I’ve tried multiple lylerys locations and shirts either come back with new stains (brown burn marks) or the collars and cuffs haven’t been pre-spotted. I worked at a dry cleaner through college so maybe my standards are too high for stain removal methods and not receiving clothes back in worse condition. Other than new and old stains the clothes come back pressed well.

Incompetence is the keyword here.
I've used Lyerly's twice: the first time they lost my suit. The man at the counter couldn't figure out what had happened. I ended up calling around to other locations and discovered it'd been delivered to the wrong store.
The second time they failed to return my suits in time, AND they lost a shirt. They told me they'd look into the shirt, but a month went by, and I'd heard nothing, so I stopped back in. I got the same, "I'll tell the manager, and she'll look into it."
The place is across the street from my house, but even I won't use them again. I just wish I could get back all the time and money they've cost me.

The wonderful lady at the front other reviews have mentioned has been replaced by an older man whose greatest strength is not exactly customer service or authority. My dress did not appear to be stained when i dropped it off but did need to be cleaned. When i picked it up however it was suttly stained. Considering i paid over $16 to wash this very small cocktail dress (it has beads so i understand the price) i would expect to get some kind of discount, but no. I didnt want to make a fuss, so i just asked "they werent able to get this out?" Hoping for an explanation or discount since clearly i was unsatisfied, the only response i received was "i guess not." I'm not saying not to go here, because i cant tell you any place better. Just know not to expect 5 star service and quality.
