Stephen is an artist that has whale sculptures on display at Lowcountry Artists Gallery. Today is demonstrating the process of creating the whale sculptures. The sculptures are made out of walnut wood.

This was my favorite gallery in downtown Charleston. There was work by many artists and in many different styles and mediums. They had sculptures and carved statues, water color and oil paintings. As well as some very detailed model buildings. The person working there was informative and friendly. Great place to visit!

My friend Ken was the featured artist of the month. I saw lots of amazing peices. I also talked with a really positive and knowledgeable staff. I love the supportive environment and appreciate all the hard work each person puts in to their peices. I can't wait to see more. Call me bias but I think that Ken does the most amazing job paying close attention to details when he makes his 3D replicas of things!

A great place to see a variety of Low Country artists' work in a pleasant atmosphere.There are beautiful and engaging paintings, interesting ceramic pieces and other artistic mediums worth checking out whether you're browsing to make a purchase or just enjoying the art. Staff is very nice and helpful answering questions.

Great collection of local artists from around the Lowcountry! 4 rooms, over 30 artists, celebrating the oldest locally owned artists gallery in Charleston now for 40 years!There are so many different mediums and views to choose from. A view of the Lowcountry from many perspectives... I'm sure there's something for you here for sure!Oils, pastels, water colors, cold wax, encaustics, wood sculpture, metal works, glass, sweet grass, jewelry, silversmiths work, bronzes, pottery, photography, note cards, ornaments, acrylics, mixed media, miniatures, furniture and trinket boxes ... I THINK I got em all....Favorite gallery in town... Easily accessible and parking on street or garage right by the pineapple fountain!
