I had high expectations for the autograph collection Marriott, and unfortunately was let down. Check-in service was just professional enough not to be rude. I don’t think they were listening very well, as my partner and I had to repeat ourselves. They didn’t provide room freshening one of the days. The room was fine, but missing a lightbulb in the bedside table sconce and the separate toilet room was like a cave, small, gray, no decor. The “included continental” for Titanium members ended up being just the yogurt parfait at the cafe, which was disappointing. It is walkable to downtown, so 5 stars there. The valet was exceptional and the hostess at the Eleve was very nice, so I give one star for each of those services.

A very classy place to stay in the heart of the historic district of Charleston. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you.
Rooms: The rooms are well appointed and the daily service is excellent.
Nearby activities: We walked to many of the local attractions as the hotel is well situated.
Walkability: Many of the great local attractions are within a 20 minute walk from the hotel.

Beautiful! You get a glass of champagne upon arrival, and the rooms are gorgeous. I stayed up late last night before our flight, so I tool a siesta when we got in. The BED IS LIKE HEAVEN.

A perfectly wonderful stay! From our arrival to departure a seamless experience. All hotel staff were courteous, friendly and helpful! The valet parking was prompt. Elijah and Ryan were super! They went the extra mile in assisting us with our luggage.

Good, but hotel needs to check with the Greenville property to see how to meet the expectation of the name. Great décor though.
Rooms: Need to work on the automated music turning on in the hallway at 5 AM. Also the bar on the roof was less welcoming than the wine bar downstairs.

Unique hotel...art laden rooms and hallways. A journey in itself. We ate at their restaurant...superb. Best beet salad ever with a tangy horseradish flavor...mild. Wonderful experience.

The rooms are beautiful and the beds are very comfortable. Our service was great and we loved the wine blending class that we signed up for. It was quick walk anywhere in town and definitely super safe.
Safety: Not a single hesitation about it being super safe.
Walkability: One block off of King Street and a quick walk to Market Street- in a prime location and ready to get around.
Food & drinks: Fabulous wine selection.

My husband and I stayed here for a short vacation and we were thoroughly impressed! I don’t often write reviews- but staff at the front desk truly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing less than perfect! Chris and Noah in particular were extremely helpful and accommodating! I absolutely loved the lobby and enjoyed looking at the unique art in the gallery! 11/10 we will absolutely be returning!
Walkability: Prime location!

This a fun kitschy hotel. Out stay however was not enjoyable. We stayed here New Year’s Day and night. The first room we had, there was a not stopping kippy dog and screaming children. The front desk said we could move rooms and after lugging our luggage to the new room we found little rhinestones all over. In the bed, sink and all over the floor. Obviously someone who had stayed the night before had a fancy outfit covered in rhinestones. Unfortunately the room had not been thoroughly cleaned. Then to top off everything the water bottles in the rooms cost $5 per. Kinda Nickle
And diming you for everything.
