Do not allow this towing company to touch your car. I had a CARTA bus come into my lane and hit me, even as I was putting it in reverse to get out of the way. The police called this tow company and as soon as he got there, he was telling me I would have to pay him before he did anything and it was very evident that he knew the bus driver and driver's supervisor. He was acting very unprofessional and putting blame on me. I told the police officer that I didn't want him touching my car and I would call my insurance and have my own tow come out. The man from Jennings proceeded to sit on and lean against my car. I asked him to please get off my car, but he continued. At this point I started recording him, to show that I asked him several times to stop touching my car. Also, I could tell that the tow driver knew the police officers as well, because as I was asking him to move away, the cop did nothing and just told me to "calm down"! As he finally walked away, he called me a stupid white b**ch! And again, the cop did nothing! I wasn't able to get the tow driver's name, but he was a black male, chubby with a goatee.

How does anyone get in contact with someone there? Called no less than 8 times before being put on hold for 20 minutes. Called back a few times and then eventually immediately sent to voicemail every time. There is no way of finding out when they have office hours. I now believe they are purposely holding my car to accrue fees.

THESE PEOPLE NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE! THIS LEADS TO AN INCREASE IN STORAGE CHARGES TO THE CUSTOMERS! SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES THAT ARE SO OBVIOUS!

Almost towed in a poorly marked area by Jennings. The driver speaks caveman and is rude as can be! Had to pay $130 to unhook.

My Honda Odyssey went completely dead after driving it to Sullivan's Island. I called AAA and within 60 minutes, they called back saying someone would meet us at our car. We figured it might be the battery, so they sent someone with a battery to test it. They also knew we might need to buy a battery to replace our 3 year old car battery. Sure enough the batter was at 0%. We were SO fortunate to have Devante meet us at our car and he was the NICEST, most PROCESSIONAL person ever. He explained everything that was happening, and we did need a new battery. he had exactly what we needed. It was convenient, fast, and super effecient. I asked for his car because if i ever have something wrong with our car again, we'll for sure request Devante again. 10 stars!

They must be giving the City a kick back. Towing Dozens of vehicles on the fourth week of the month for sweeping. For those reading, Tuesday is one side and Wednesday is the other for approximately a few hours,10-1. The signs where the people are parking say you can park with a green arrow. They say there’s a sign at the end. It’s at the end and only can be seen from one way on the corner when it should be attached to the same post saying park here. At least you would think so. Their only reply is, “ it’s the law”……. They know people coming from the opposite direction will never see that sign. They are lined up each time with many trucks knowing this and also knowing if people actually saw a sign they wouldn’t. Now the question is who works for Charleston and is getting the kick back? Investigation into their towed should be immediate.

Jennings Towing was not able to tow my C6 Corvette because they do not come prepared with the proper equipment. Communication with the company was ineffective and frustrating. I will make sure not to use Jennings Towing in the future.

Used through AAA. Needed a battery that he did not have on his truck. He retrieved it from a nearby location and replaced the old one quickly.

I personally did not deal with the staff, but my other did.On October 3, at no fault of ours, we were in an accident. At the choice of the South Carolina police our car was towed to this location. When we called to confirm that our car was there, and how late they’d be open we were told that only the owner or the car (with proof) could go into the yard to retrieve our belongings.Upon arrival my other half was told only one person could go back at a time.During this whole ordeal they offered my other half little to no assistance. When asked if they had a crowbar, they responded with we have no tools. Because of no help and no tools my other half was only able to get a fraction of our belongings.I asked my x husband (who’s a good friend to us both) to please give it a try. I figured if we gave permission he would be allowed. At first they weren’t going to let him go back. Then he would need an escort. Someone said they’d go back with him. And, at some point it was settled that both of them would be able to go back with an escort. It was also during this trip they were offered a wagon to help carry our belongings out.Between the two of them (no help from the person who walked them out) they were able to get our belongings.

First time ever in Charleston we went to the Museum wasn’t even there for 2 hours (I paid) never being towed before I didn’t know who to call or where to go I finally get in touch with Jeannie and she was so sweet. They couldn’t find my tuck at first because it had not made it to the lot yet, and when I called again she was very helpful and said that it had just arrived right after we hung up the first time. I did not know the area at all and my phone was on 10 percent. She told me that I would be safe to walk straight to the lot and not need an Uber and after a 2 hour walk down the same road we had driven in on, under the highways and over railroad tracks this was our unforgettable Charleston experience. We had some laughs about other people’s similar unfortunate situations and you could just tell it was a family type of business they seemed tight knit and they were very eager people. We never did see any parts of Charleston as they took my truck over 3 miles up the road we came in on… I paid them 130$ Then we had a nice laugh about how that could have been a nice dinner. They were nice people and it ended up being an unforgettable experience. Thank you and God bless y’all.
