Found some pretty cool Charleston apparel in here. I'm a sucker for Vineyard Vines products, and they just so happened to have a shirt with the Ravenel bridge on the back, which was awesome. I also copped a Vineyard vines hat with Charleston spelled out on the side. The prices weren't that bad. They were standard Vineyard Vines prices: my hat was $32 and my shirt was $48. Self checkout was easy and I found the staff to be helpful.

Receipt printer doesn’t work half the time and cashiers have no way to reprint a receipt. Are the new automated stations a regression for the customer experience?

The worst Hudson I've been to in a while based on worker treatment of people shopping. That's saying something too since they switched to self service kiosks. Really nothing here but overpriced food and rude staff. While I was there, the two workers on duty were gossiping to each other. One of them asked me to switch kiosks because this one woman was shopping near the kiosk I was about to use...mind you, she wasn't even checking out items, just looking at items near one of the registers. There was definitely some racial profiling going on, and I'm sure they would have trailed me around the store if they could. Not a fan of the definitive inhospitable attitude here.

There's no price tags or signs. You'll only find out after you pay - which is also the moment you find out about their price gouging.

Friendly stuff, but owner doesn't seem to find it necessary to put prices on anything

Typical very overpriced snack food and souvenir airport shop. Key words being very over priced. one person ringing a very long line. This location has a self check though which is what we opted to do instead.

Employee was doing nothing standing in corner with line- then told us to go to self service. Self service machines weren’t work. I was pregnant and trying to keep my toddler with me- would have been easier for her to actually do her job.

This is a really nice airport, that has plenty of space for seating and is comfortable, while also providing your airport necessities while you wait for your plane. This is not an airport that you have to show up super early for, and the food options in there meet that standard. I appreciate the little things, like multiple seating options, whether it is in a workspace or traditional airport seating as well.

Given Charleston's location, relatively close to the Caribbean as well as Bermuda, I expected a much larger airport than the tiny center that we flew into. I cannot recall flying into and out of, a smaller airport in all of my travels, even Providence's airport felt larger than this one. And disappointing matters further, there was almost nothing open in this airport, most likely due to COVID. The sinks in the bathrooms only dispensed cold water, making the recommended amount of time for hand washing difficult to attain, as well. I doubt I will be returning to this airport anytime soon and I'm not at all saddened by that!

Favorite airport I've been to. It's small and never crowded. It is not the type of airport that gives you anxiety from being too crowded or chaotic. There is never a long line for security. You are through security within 10 minutes depending on the amount of luggage's you may have. TSA staff is friendly and do not yell at you. There are plenty of places to grab a coffee or snacks. All COVID precautions are enforced. It may seem frightening to travel during a pandemic, but CHS ensures passengers feel safe. Many accommodations are made for those individuals who may need them. Staff at the gates are always kind and answer any questions you may have regarding your flight. I have yet to have a bad experience here at CHS International Airport.

Smaller international airport that's super easy to get in and out of. Everyone we dealt with was friendly. Okay dining and shopping options if you have time to kill.

I love this airport. So easy to manage. Not a huge monster like some. Very clean and easy to get in and out as a passenger and as a driver. I just wish they had more food options that would be open in the earlier hours. Perhaps it's due to COVID. The staff, end TSA is friendly. No glares or snide comments here.
