:Very special checkin. As i spproached the front desk i was greeted with a beautiful smile and a "May i help you"? Gave her my name and she immediately found my reservation and gave me a welcome speech. She is a 10+ and a great asset to this motel. Went to our room and opened the door to a large beautifully decorated room. Also the maids had done a marvelous job cleaning. The bed was comfortableHad a perfect night.

Wasn't to pleased with location. Parking was crazy, as we had to park in a garage and walk back and forth to validate a parking pass every time you went out anywhere. Breakfast was great! The ladies working the breakfast area was so sweet and friendly. Kept everything filled and ready for the guest.Rooms: Rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable.Safety: Seemed to be very safe. Walking distance to several restaurants.

We had a very pleasent stay in the Hotel which is not so far a away from the city center but very good to reach by car. There are parking spots directly at the hotel including a good American breakfast and a very good service. You can reach the city center by foot in round about 30 minutes. Looking forward to out next stay.Rooms: Rooms are good and mostly clean.

If you can’t understand the basic standards of running a hotel then you shouldn’t be in business. Threadbare towels, disgusting. We had a room with a connecting door and you could hear every word. It’s more a 2 star property.

The hotel was okay. I came here for Memorial Day and on their website it said the buffet opens at 6:30 am. Right now as I’m writing this it’s currently 6:40am and the doors are still closed. Really upset about this! Please open breakfast the same time as y’all say on the website!

Problems checking out. They do not have enough parking at the hotel. Have to use a parking garage for the overflow. They do validate for the parking. It is just a pain. Doubt I will stay there again.

Do not stay here! I switched from a different hotel to here, because their pool was closed. When I checked in at the Holiday Inn Express, they informed me that their pool was also closed for the weekend we were there staying. This was listed no where when I booked. They did end up giving me a refund which I appreciate, but it just continued to go downhill from there. We stayed in a room with a King size bed and a pull out couch bed (this was all they had available). When we went to go get sheets and blankets for the pull out bed, they had NONE. They also did not have any additional pillows. Apparently they were "All out of pillows & blankets" how does that even happen at a hotel?? Then, when we requested more towels (there were only 2 in the room) they again said "We are all out of towels and will not have any more for the entire weekend." AGAIN how does a hotel run out of towels??? Mind you both of those very reasonable asks, we tried to call the front desk from our room. The front desk DOES NOT ANSWER their phone. We had to go down there to ask for everything, that should have been provided in the first place. It was just mindboggling. So yes we had to share 2 towels & had no blankets, just top sheets and no pillows on the pull out bed. It was just insane! Stay at one of the other hotels in this area, not this one - TRUST ME!

Well the front desk is kindTHEY CHARGE AN $8 FEE PLUS $15 PARKING PER NIGHT I WAS NOT AWARE OF MY SELF. PLUS WE NEEDED TO PARK OFF SITE!Parking is full at premisis while we visited site. So it is on the 3rd floor of Publix garage. You must walk and it seems a bit sketchy but ok. I prefer to park where I stay not close by. Many do not mind. No exhaust vent seen in bathroom here? So steam filled room. The ceiling was a little rough.Rooms: CleanNearby activities: Park and downtown

The rooms are super clean and the property is really well taken care of! About a 30 minute walk to lots of fun stuff downtown as well. Very happy with my stay here.

Staff is absolutely the BEST! So friendly and caring. The hotel is modern and the rooms are comfortable. The beds are extremely comfortable. Parking is limited and overflow is in the Publix parking garage. You can walk to Publix for last minute needs or food/bevs for your room. However, the hotel "pantry" has everything you could want. The location is ideal for MUSC or Roper St. Francis hospitals. Ours was a medical stay for over a week. The staff went out of their way to be accommodating and were just so kind to us. This will be our go-to for all future medical stays.

Isiah was very professional and went above and beyond. He recognized Diamond Elite status right away and was beyond grateful. With strong communication skills, hopefully he has long-term leadership roles in place.

The price online was listed $141 the hotel charged me $251 all together, was not told at check in that the pool was closed , drove many hours here and spent a lot of money for one night the hotel is out dated, the hallways stink, the pool was closed, and I can here a crying baby in the room next to me non stop!! Not pleased at all especially for the price! They would not refund me and only provided me with a $20 discount!!
