After purchasing my car in 2019 from Handsome Motors and driving it for over two years, I am confident that I have purchased a lemon and have been taken for a ride with this dealer. Despite having the car inspected I have had nonstop issues, ranging from minor to major. I will itemize my issues below: -Jack promised the car would be detailed prior to delivery. The car showed up smelling like a rest stop bathroom, stickers all over the inside of the car, stains on the rugs in the front and back, and scratched all over the exterior which was not disclosed before purchase. I found out when I saw the itemized list that the transporter noted. -Dealer would not accept COD for payment. I live out of state and wanted some assurance I wasn't being sold a junk heap. He would take nothing other than wire transfer, which read as sketchy. If you stand behind what you're selling, you should not have an issue taking a deposit with the balance COD. -After having serviced this foreign car properly as needed (A and B services at every prompt, and regular oil changes), I had to have the following replaced: Wiring harness - $3K Auxiliary battery - $400 Rear air suspension - $1K That is $4,400 worth of repairs in just over two years. This car is a piece of garbage. I would not trust this dealer or anything that comes out of his "dealership."

Worst car dealer ever totally unprofessional individual who must have friends post fake good reviews because none of them are true pass on this guy make sure to check credentials there is a reason he has no inventory

Terrible customer service and zero transparency this guy has a story for everything and the only inventory he has is a Hyundai but he wants to sell you an exotic unreal my favorite is if you give him a bad review he claims he has no idea who you are i would recommend looking at other options before making the mistake of using this business

This guy purchased a car from me on eBay by making a "Buy it now" commitment. My listing requested a $500 deposit within 24 hours. After a full day.....radio silence. When I contacted him, his response was that he had never even seen the listing! Now, ask yourself whether this rings true. I had to inform eBay and ask them to cancel the listing and replace it with another. They dinged the guy and will put him on the "three strikes and you're out" list. If you are considering purchasing a car from this business or selling your car to him ask yourself whether you can expect to get an honest deal from Handsome Motors. By the way, my car sold within an hour of being re-listed to an honest dealer who paid immediately.

My experience mirrors what other reviews have said. Jack was extremely pleasant to work with, not pushy in the least, and responsive. I was very nervous to purchase a used car sight unseen and out of state, but it has exceeded my dreams. I waited several months before offering this review to make sure no issues arose, and they have not. Jack even had a new tire overnighted to me at no cost after we noticed a bulge in one of the tires. I will be keeping my car for a long time, but when I do need a new one, I will ask Jack to find it for me.

Jack was an absolute pleasure to deal with throughout the entire buying process. Extremely responsive, answered all of my questions, provided vehicle history & service records. He sent me vids/pics of the vehicle and made me feel comfortable making an out-of-state purchase. I was able to send the payment electronically, he then arranged transport to New York. I would recommend Handsome Motors to anyone in the market.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND Jack and his business Handsome Motors. He was super responsive during initial contact, flexible with meeting and patient when I arrived to take a look at a fantastic Volvo XC90. He was transparent to the point where he provided maintenance records without being asked. He allowed me to take my time with the vehicle while going over its history and negotiating price. After getting past the introduction, he took service to another level by handling all of the DMV processing right in his office and gave me some very credible advice on financing, detailing and service options right on James Island. Two months after we bought car, Jack still responds to texts and emails in the same day. Satisfied would be an understatement. I plan on going back in a year or so when my better half is ready for a new ride.

Jack is a straight shooter. Never felt more confident buying a used car. I could tell when looking at his selection that he thoroughly vets and inspects vehicles before looking to purchase and sell them. I'm very happy with my purchase and experience and couldn't recommend him enough.

Best sales experience I've ever had. Bought a car from out of state. Comunicated by phone, text and email. Jack was very professional and knowledgeable regardless of which method we communicated. The car I bought was everything I expected. Even after I made the purchase and having the car delivered to my house, Jack kept in contact with me to make sure I was satisfied with the car. He's not like most salesman who don't want anything to do with you once you've bought their product. Simply put: He's the best of the best!

We purchased a 2016 Mercedes Benz E400 convertible. Jack was awesome to work with and very accommodating from the Pre Purchase Inspection to a MB software/firmware fix that corrected driver seat position. Jack found the fix and MB did not have a clue. Thank You Jack for being knowable and trustworthy!!! We love the car and the service experience was A+.

Woah! Jack is the man. In less than a week, he found us exactly what we wanted well under our original stated budget. He found us a 2015 Toyota Tacoma, which was exactly what we wanted. He can literally find anything you want, be it luxury or something more key. Regardless of the kind of car you get, the service and quality is never compromised. Our car came fully serviced, cleaned, with brand new tires (and we were still over $1000 under budget). His passion shines through in every interaction. I will literally never go to another dealership.
