Excellent selection of jewelry. We go there because we always need a custom made ring.10 years ago my wife got me the engagement ring somewhere else, but then we needed a wedding band. They did awesome sending my engagement ring to California to get the wedding band custom made. 10 years later we wanted to add a wedding band to celebrate our milestone. I wanted it custom made, again, but this time with 5 sapphires and 5 diamonds. They sent it out to California. And as the time before, they did an amazing job. I love the new look of my ring!! Thank you!!

Dropping to 1 star for recent experience with “Jo”. This employee was aggressive and combative at the register in front of other employees and customers for absolutely no reason. Worst customer service I’ve ever had. Took 3 weeks to get a quote on a repair, and I thought it was being fixed that whole time. Out of frustration I just went to pick it up, and Jo asked me “do you have a problem”? I don’t have a problem paying for a repair, but I have a problem with poor communication topped off with a bad attitude.Had 5 Star Customer Service with the owner on previous purchases, but I won’t be back.

Never buy a diamond or anything from them. My husband bought my engagement ring from them. On our honeymoon I bent a prong. Took it to Garfield to repair. It too forever and when they returned it to me they switched diamonds on me.My diamond was worth 1700.00 was now worth 300.00. Wrong size, color, and depth.Took it to another jewelry store with Garfield paperwork. They did their review and Garfield lied about the whole thing. We had to fight to get our money back.It happened to me and it could happen to YOU.

We (my mom, sister, daughter and I) had a wonderful experience with Garfield Jewelers. Anne (with an "e") greeted us as we came in, and had us all join her in then back of the store for a consultation. She was so friendly, knowledgeable and easy to work with that even after we left, finished business, we all couldn't help but compliment the experience. Anne never made is feel rushed, nor like we were just a number... Which struck us because the store was pretty busy.The work we were there in search of, my mom had raw gems cut and polished from our family vacation which she had presented them to us to have mounted as we wish as a thoughtful gift. Anne spoke with each of us in order to find out what we wanted, found the various settings, gave her professional advice/guidance and got us excited about our gifts coming to life!Even after that process (imagine 4 related woman in one group- she had her work cut out for her), she took time to discuss misc jewelry repairs and jewelry rearranging (taking a pierce of jewelry and changing/ updating it.Terrific experience. Highly recommend this jewelry store, and especially Anne!

If you're looking for top notch service, Garfield's provides. I was in town for a wedding and needed an immediate jewelry repair and found Garfield's on Savannah Hwy. The earrings were repaired while I waited and the sales associate couldn't have been more pleasant. The store has a nice selection of jewelry, too. I wish we had a store in Columbia like this.

I purchased my wedding band from Garfield Jewelers and had an amazing experience. All staff members were so kind, and even cleaned my engagement ring (that I didn't purchase there) for free. The employee I worked with was really patient and didn't pressure me into buying something when I wasn't ready. She allowed me to think about the purchase for a few weeks and agreed to honor the price if I decided to return. I ended up coming back and felt confident in my purchase!
