The front desk person has a poor attitude instead of saying, hello how are you? Just stares at you and tells you the amount you owe that’s not good customer service.

This is a basic little store with tourist-y items and some basics if you have need while you're in Charleston. I was able to find some cute shirts and gifts and very reasonably priced magnets for keepsakes here. Prices are great and a large selection of items inside, it's larger than it appears from outside and the lady who rang us up was very friendly.

I just left the five and dime on meeting Street. I am so upset how I was treated. It’s 6 o’clock on a Thursday evening, I am a 65-year-old man who is respectful and polite to everyone. A young man perhaps 18 to 20 years old waited on me at the register and was so rude and abrasive. When my wife asked him why is he speaking to me that way he started waving his hands at her and even being more rude. I cannot imagine why a business owner would allow such a confrontational and rude person to represent him. There should be a consequence, this young man should not be working there. There was no doubt in my mind that I was not the first person he was rude to nor will I be the last. If you care about decency and you actually care about your business choose your staff more carefully.

Disgusting store. If you go in be sure to check dates on product. Food has been expired since 2020‼‼

There’s a lot of great stuff here! I remember in the past, there used to be a postcard section featuring Classic Charleston Collectibles. I didn’t happen to see that anywhere. Aside from that, I will definitely be back next time I’m in the Lowcountry.

Gave the stars for the employees that work there, missed out on one because of the head people there. I’m guessing it’s their manager but you can tell that he doesn’t care about them. I know when it floods and the people that drive cars can’t get there but that’s their fault? That’s a problem in my opinion.. listen to your employees!! Yanno how a lot of places were/are closing because not enough employees & how employees wouldn’t come in because of not enough pay and also mistreatment at work, well that may happen here. I know how it is so when I see it, it’s just a shame. Maybe it’s just my opinion but the employees need treated better & they need some credit for keeping the workplace how it’s supposed to. And listen it’s downtown, places can close for just a lil bit so people don’t have to worry about messing up their car or how they’re going to get to & from work.

Pretty cool place to get charleston/South Carolina merchandise. Plenty of stuff to choose from and the staff to me at least we're making jokes and being very friendly and nice. Cool nic-nack shop to stop at in Charleston and get some souvenirs.

Picked up some souvenirs here today as they have lots of unique items. The wooden city plaques are really smart looking, along with year plaques with interesting facts in them. They also have many t-shirts for sale too. Staff was really friendly; she wrapped up our items in newspaper to prevent damage while we travel.

Cool little tourist shop to pop into, tons and tons of every kind of merchandise you could think of. Besides the magnets, key chains and t-shirts there was plenty of more artistic items, plenty of kid friendly items and a section of store for grocery. I was so tempted to grab a new straw hat as I stood in the socially distanced line to the register. Or the cute SC beachy wooden art pieces. Basically everything we looked at was a oohhhh! Fun little store.
