Braden Powell and Fishwater Outfitters brings years of experience and skill with him on every trip. I had fly fished for years but was new to saltwater and specifically redfish fishing. Braden is an excellent coach showing me how to spot, identify and catch my first redfish including a bruiser that will be the subject of stories for years to come. I cannot recommend Braden Powell and Fishwater Outfitters enough. If you are thinking about chasing redfish in South Carolina or trout in Montana give him a call.

Captain Powell put me and my 9 year old son on some red drum, sea trout, flounder, blue fish, and croaker…all in 4 hours around Kiawah Island. Had an absolute blast / made great memories. Worth every cent.

I had an amazing day with Capt. Branden Powell. Sunlight was terrible, but fish were everywhere and feeding. Branden put me on some great fish in an amazing environment. No complaints about the conditions, just worked harder and had a great time. Best experience I ever had with a guide.

Went for my 2nd time fly fishing ever with Captain Braden and had a blast with my dad. He was great at giving super helpful tips especially me being a novice. He knew of great spots to find the red fish and is an expert at his craft, especially in the area where he has been fishing and guiding for over a decade.

Captain bradon is very knowledgable, and put us on fish. He worked his tail off when the weather went south. And let me bring my own gear. He was incredibly friendly, and a pleasure to be on the water with. His hells bay skiff was top notch and immaculately clean. 10/10 would reccomend and we will be back!

Any guide can make the day fun when the water is calm and fish are cooperative. I fly fished with Braden today in light rain and 15 mph winds with gusts up to 25 mph. Of course, water visibility was poor and casting(for me) was very difficult. Nonetheless, he put me on some fish and even though I couldn't close the deal I had a great morning. Braden took the time to patiently demonstrate the double haul and walk me through my casting of the single haul. Braden knows his waters and the fish. I'll be back again.

Capt. Braden is extremely knowledgeable of the local waters and works hard all day to put you on fish. Great experience fishing with him, highly recommend.
