The mr. Fielding and Mrs. Ann was very helpful and courteous to me and my family. They went the extra mile to help out anyway they could during and after the funeral process. They did a good job on my sister. Thanks for the thoughtfulness through it all God bless. Zelma Sumter-Chambliss

I am sure the director tried to make things work, but they need professionals to come and train the staff on how a dignified funeral should be. They need to care for the exterior of the chapel, it needed cleaning and a good painting. Then they need to either someone that knows how to operate their sound system, or get a different one. They couldn't get must come on(although it constantly announced "POWER ON" &POWER OFF" during the service!!!) Someone in the audience had the music play through their cell phone! Very unprofessional in my opinion! I wouldn't recommend their services until they get some training on how a dignified funeral is to be conducted...

They were there through multiple hard times within my family. From my grandparents to great aunts, I always remember them being friendly and caring. They essentially helped pass generations in my family alone. I would recommend them to any family.

Horrible service! People were incredibly rude and unprofessional. If you want your decease family member to have a proper, respectful funeral service, please do not use this place at all! They crammed up all the bouquets of flowers on the side of the casket, completely ruining them along with the experience and respect.

My cousin recently passed away and we used Fielding for her services. On the way to the burial, the gentleman driving the hearse was not happy with the fact that the family car driver wasn't driving fast enough. We made it to the burial and as we were getting ready to leave, the driver couldn't get the car out of park. She tried everything. The gentlemen at the grave site looked under the hood and while they didn't see anything wrong with the transmission fluid, they did see that the car was very low on oil. Why would that not be checked before sending the car out? She called the gentleman who was driving the hearse because he had already left. He comes back and was able to put the car in drive. The part that is disturbing is that after that, he leaves! He doesn't wait to see if we are able to get to our destination or anything! We did and made it back to Charleston from St Matthews (an hour away), but the fact that he left was disturbing. At least make sure your customers are safe! That was my first experience and hopefully my last.

I am utterly disappointed with this funeral home's answering service. I called on three occasions after work (since I am in California): Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, and apparently received their after-hours line. On each occasion, they told me that funeral arrangements were not finalized, but that they would have a representative from the funeral home call me back, yet no one called. I called today to follow-up during regular hours, and they told me that the funeral was yesterday! WTF! Who does that! What's the point of an after-hours answering service, if they're not going to do their job! I wanted to get flowers over to my friend so that she knew that my heart was with her, and I was thinking of her and her family during this time! SMDH! Hire a new answering service!
