Awesome experience. Great spot to do a escape room. Close to everything I'm the center of town. Plenty of options to choice from. The staff was very welcoming and nice. Will def check them out again when in the area!

What an amazing escape room! Right in the heart of Charleston, this well built building has a lot of charm and so much fun secrets to discover in each room! We completed After Hours and our guide Elishah was so fun and made sure we had a blast while attempting to escape! If you are in Charleston and looking for something fun to do, definitely check out Escape in 60!

This was our first escape room experience and we had a lot of fun! We did the Witches Attic. Our daughter was scared at first, and the two employees we encountered were so incredibly accommodating and reassuring. Definitely not something I’d normally do, but after today I’d definitely go again.

Its okay as an escape room. My daughter and I have been doing them for about 8 years. We have seen great rooms and we've seen some terrible rooms too. This one is close to being a 5 star. The quality of the rooms and the thoughtfulness of the clues was good. The only issue is the timing of the actions and the flow of the room. Having random unlocks that are silent without clear triggers really makes the tasks feel disjointed.

My wife and I came to Escape in 60 multiple times during our 5 day visit to Charleston. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. They do a great job making sure you understand the room and tailor their hints to your specific group (more if you want them and fewer if you dont).Their rooms are well designed and thought-provoking. Challenge level is very appropriate, and the game masters are very attentive to your game so that you don't end up hopelessly stuck.I would recommend this to any group who visits the city and likes escape rooms. They are a local business and very much worth your time and patronage.

A good experience on a date night in downtown Charleston! We arrived early and were able to book the room we wanted (the Ransom room). While we were waiting they had games and music playing. Which kept me busy and entertained all at once lol. We had to sign the typical waivers and wait for our assigned timeframe. They also have a bathroom available if its needed. We had just two people and we escaped with over 3 minutes to spare. A fun night, if you have been wanting to try an escape room go for it!! The staff was very friendly and helpful. They give you 3 clues if you need them in case you get stuck. They have rooms that you can bring kids into (kid friendly) so the whole family can enjoy the escape rooms. They also have rooms not recommended for kids (scary/complex). We did one of the rooms not recommended for kids, im guessing its because things pop out which definitely have a scare factor that kids may not enjoy. The price was around the same as all the other escape room companies in the low county. One thing I like about this place was they didn't make us pay for 3 people to make it a "private" room. Others in the area said they don't allow for public rooms so you are always charged for 3 people even if you only have 2. We didn't mind working with new people, we just wanted to experience the escape room and have a little fun on our anniversary. The only issue is parking. There isn't the best parking close by, we had to park about 6-8 blocks away. However, if you are enjoying downtown Charleston anyways, check them out! We will be back with a few more people to try the more complex rooms.

I was pretty disappointed in my experience. We had a new employee as our "game guide" and while she was incredibly nice, it was her first day and our room was not set up properlyThere were multiple instances where locks weren't actually locked, items were in the wrong "things", and most things were not reset in the room properly from the previous group.I went with my family for my sister's birthday and felt like the room would have actually been super fun as it had some cool puzzles and themes, but instead we left feeling like we wasted our money on a puzzle that was already done for us.

In retrospect, I should probably have taken inventory of the number of escape rooms I've done over the last ::checks calendar:: decade. That's a frightening amount of time to consider and I may need to sit down and think of what I've done with my life... but before I do that, let me assure you that if you're anything like me and have more than a few dozen escape rooms under your belt, please know this place will surprise you with concepts you have yet to see, all while being beginner-friendly to anyone who has never locked themselves into a puzzle room for 60 minutes before. The funny thing is we took a chance on being able to come here. Through a conflict with another escape room operator in town that will remain nameless, we found ourselves looking for an alternative escape room to fill our afternoon. And Escape in 60 more than delivered.I need to confess that I am the worst person on the planet when it comes to names. I (shamefully) cannot remember the name of our operator... she worked with us on Friday, she had impressive taste in shoes, and her quick wit was masterful beyond compare. (If she is reading this, or the Escape in 60 team is reading this, please do pass along these words because she was wonderful.)We knew we were in good hands and when our hostess walked us upstairs to the Roulette Me Out room, we knew the escape room gods had smiled upon us. I often comment that you can't really talk about an escape room without spoiling the experience, and I will not be doing that here. But an escape room in 2024 that, as far as I remember, had one lock/key puzzle? That's a rarity worth praising, I'd say. There were several clever puzzles in this one that none of us had seen previously and if that kind of approach extends to the other rooms Escape in 60 offers, than they have absolutely created something special here for locals and tourists alike.I mentioned it way above but whether you are an escape room veteran or you're looking to see what the fun is all about, you cannot go wrong with Escape in 60. From the engaging staff to the thoughtful scenarios and creative challenges, it should rank high on your list of places to visit the next time you're in town.

Makaila was FANTASTIC. She was fun and helped when needed. She was so good we did back to back rooms.A few puzzles had some glitches, but she sprang into action and took care of them.Overall would return.
