The cashier, Ayana, had a serious attitude and was irritated with everything and everyone in the checkout line. When we asked how she was doing she didn’t respond, so we asked again and she said “good.” She stuffed all of our items (meat, frozen goods, shelf items) into one bag - we bought 20 items. Then she tossed the receipt so it fell on the ground. Worst experience we’ve had ever while checking out at a grocery store.

This Earthfare used to be a pretty decent stop, but this trip was a bit rough. I went to get a smoothie and it seemed to be quite a big deal and took quite a while. They didn't seem to have the things, but in the end she made it and it was fine. Prices were high, but there were some good sales. I will be back for the bulk seeds and nuts. There was some altercation with a clerk and an upset women which seemed to get escalated which lost a star.

Love this store when I want to find brands I can’t find at a regular grocery store. I also like that they grill burgers/hotdogs on Sundays!!

I’ll preface this with I LOVE this store. The concept of it is right up my alley. I love not having to look at labels, knowing everything in the store is pretty well vetted for me. I just wish it was cleaner. The fresh food area and cafe table area is always a mess. And today, a roach crawling by as I got my soup. Ugh. It just looks unkempt on that side of the store. A little cleaning, especially where there is fresh prepared food would be nice.

Can’t say enough. I shop here regularly and can’t say enough about all the options.And….i can’t say enough about the manager Brent and the employees. I lost my wallet a week ago and stopped by there and it was not to be found. The manager Brent called me this morning and he found it! People are good! Above and beyond! Yay Earth Fare! Discovered this market a bit ago and Loneice has been my cashier more than a few times and is always so sweet and nice. This place is a hidden gem in Charleston always has something perfect to eat at the hot bar and the best products.
