All here at Charleston Harbor Veterinarians are simply the best. Dr. Kahuda, Dr. McCaskill and all the technicians are empathetic health care angels. This past week my cat was scheduled for an early morning surgery. I could not for the life of me find her in my apartment. I thought she'd figured out where she was about to go and was hiding, having visited the vet the previous 2 days and her carrier being left out to ease her in it at 7am. So I called Charleston Harbor Veterinarians at 8am saying that I could not find her. They said to keep looking for another hour or so and if I was not successful to call them back, which I did right before 10am, saying I still could not find her. They asked me if I'd like to have a couple of their techs come to my home (since I live sort of close by) and help me find her! I couldn't believe how nice and kind they were being. They said they'd be by in a short while. Then, of course, lo' and behold, my cat comes out of a closet (that she's never in the morning), yawning and stretching as if it's just another regular day. I called Charleston Harbor Veterinarians back. It's now about 11am. The receptionist tells me they were just going out the door at that moment to help me. Adding now, with that not being necessary to bring her up right away, which I did. So I guess she went into surgery shortly after 11:30am. I received a call back around 12:30 saying Dr.McCaskill had completed the procedure and it all went fine, telling me I could get her at 1:30, which I did. There's much more to say about these earth angels.....,for the sake of brevity, please, I pray when your pet is in need of any kind of medical care, that you find yourself at Charleston Harbor Veterinarians.

love them already. so friendly and very informative. also wrote a handwritten card that the vets and techs all signed and mailed to my house which was the icing on top of the cake. will recommend to everyone & happy to have them care for my puppy

We were traveling and our dog got sick. He were seen the same day, diagnosed and treated w the upmost compassion and professionalism. I would highly recommend Charleston Harbor Veterinarians.

Charleston Harbor Veterinarians on Rutledge Avenue in Charleston is a great place to get care for the animals in your life. The professionals here are very knowledgeable and caring and take the time necessary to provide the best care. Good experience coming here.

Decided to venture from the vet I have been seeing since I've had my pup for the past 7 years and try another vet in the Charleston area. I'm not even entirely sure why I decided to move forward with Charleston Harbor Veterinarians, but I am glad I did. I had a really wonderful experience here. Wonderful because they asked a LOT of questions, really taking the time to get to know everything about 2#. We talked about my concerns and whether they were warranted or not. They provided explanations, they took him out to use the bathroom when he was getting restless, cut his nails, and made a plan for him! What I was missing from my current vet was responsiveness. I would email about my concerns and get a response back weeks later. It feels like communication with Charleston Harbor Vets is key. They were communicative through text and email. They sent me a lovely thank you card in the mail after his visit. I quickly received estimates, low and high end, for some further dental work he'll eventually need--the process was just full which I appreciated. Also, as many other reviews noted, they were very kind and friendly to me and my pup. Both the doctor and the tech were curious about 2# and really took the time to get to know him. Highly recommend, and will continue seeing them in the future.

Love the energy from everyone here. They are all very genuine and friendly people who I can trust to take good care of my kitty, Ollie. They have all been with Ollie since he was only 6 weeks old and they gave great advice for a new parent to a kitten!! Big shout out to the amazing and beautiful veterinarian, Logan!! Each visit she always is there to make sure I am comfortable and Ollie is too. She answers all my questions I have, since I tend to ask many, reassures me, and is very gentle/kind. Her energy is unmatched!!You can also truly tell she is a genuine soul with a love and passion for our furry friends. I am very selective about what vet my dog goes to. I had called around to about ten different vets when I moved to the area. Charleston Harbor Vet was extremely helpful and answered all of my questions. Most importantly they do not make you wait in the vehicle for your pet due to COVID. Dr. Kahuda is amazing, you can tell she is not in the field for money but her love for animals. She gives options for your needs while thinking of your budget. I had scheduled an appointment to get my dogs tooth pulled and they had just switched computer systems so somehow there was a scheduling conflict. I explained I could not make the other date and they jumped through hoops to squeeze us in on the day I had off work. You can clearly see by the stellar reviews this is the place to go. Not only is the doctor great but all of her staff is very welcoming.

Really can't say enough about this clinic. Being brand new pawrents we were unsure on who to bring our puppy to and ended up choosing CHV based upon a referral. Honestly couldn't have made a better choice, from day one our dogs health and well being was their number one priority. The technicians and doctors have been nothing but caring and understanding to me and my wife! I would highly highly recommend anyone to check out CHV if they are looking for a Charleston Vet.

I can't say enough wonderful things about this practice. We moved to Charleston only 3 months ago and when our 18 year old cat was clearly not doing well right before a long awaited vacation, CHV was able to see us in need. From the very first phone call, where they were so understanding about our situation to the way Dr. Coco handled our babies eventual euthanasia, they were amazing. It's never easy to handle this situation, adding on to this people you have never met, Dr. Coco was the consummate professional. I am looking forward to being able to send my healthy fur baby to her once it is needed.

We have been taking our dog to CHV since we got him as a 4 month old puppy over a year ago. Everyone at the office is extremely friendly and helpful. This is one of my favorite businesses to support. I am positive that they really care about our pup and will do whatever they can to do what is best for him!

From scheduling an appointment with reception to the visit itself, such ease and overall great interactions with everyone. They took great care of our puppy during the visit and took the time to answer all of our questions, wore masks and utilizing safety procedures, allowed the option to be in the office during the visit if we adhered to their protocols and even text the next day to make sure all was going smoothly for the treatment. We will be returning.

Dr. Kahuda is an exceptional vet that I'm lucky to have found. She truly cares about your pet. Her explanations are thorough and answer all of my questions, including a break down of cost/treatment options in a very simple way. I highly recommend Dr. Kahuda and her office to anyone looking for a vet. She is simply the best!
