Amazing they helped me when my travel for work hit a snag. Had an amazing car, did smell a little weird but I’m not used to rentals lol. Will definitely use them again for personal travel next time!!!

The pick up and drop off process was mostly easy. The reason I'm not giving more stars is that prior to pickup I was told the car had no damage and they gave me an inspection report claiming no damage and that I would have to send an e-mail claim if I found damage on the vehicle. When I walked out to the car there was a huge dent on the trunk and I sent the email with photos, but I never got a confirmation or anything which lead me to be stressed out during my entire trip. At drop off the return inspector said they saw my claim and I would not be charged for that damage so that was nice, but I would have preferred better customer service to avoid being stressed out the whole trip.

I did the mystery car at Dollar; figured I would give this a try as selection and cost were limited on what was being offer at that time. The mystery reveal was a huge maybe Ford 150 truck or similar in that category! Not thrilled with that door #1, “let’s make a deal” reality. So in order to make another choice, which now is considered an upgrade and $100 extra was definitely not the deal I wanted. I was ONLY given the choice of a red charger, the apple of the police’s eye! Thank goodness I did not get pulled over for any reason, those chargers have some real get up and go! Got use to the drive and the handling of it was real easy, though. After a few days, on the way back to the airport the light came on for low tire pressure. It went down to 24 and needed to be at least 32, I pulled over at a gas station to take a look before I hit the interstate. IT was not completely low (know not to ride a rim) and needless to say I did not see a tire inflation pump/service. I only had 6miles to go so I thought, I got to get to the airport. Whew I made it! Additionally, come to find out the car was due for an oil change too! But all and all it was a good car and took me on some great adventures while in Charleston, SC! Always have a plan of action if life happens… things may appear seemingly perfect, but that is not the reality! Will use Hertz/Dollar again, but definitely NOT, the mystery reveal!

Rented a minivan for 5 days over spring break in Charleston SC. The lady at the airport desk was efficient and hospitable. The van was practically brand new and held 7 of us and our luggage , including a set of golf clubs comfortably. The return was quick and easy.If I had to say anything, there is no recognition of Dollar Express status, but i think this is fairly common in smaller airports. Otherwise a great experience.

The rental vehicle Dollar representative was courteous and professional at the time of delivery. I was expecting a car vice a truck at the time of the rental pickup. The final charges was a bit confusing and painful. Recommend the final bill show the actual charges to the credit card billed.
