I am a local deck builder and I switched supply companies 3 years ago and give ALL my business to Decks and Docks. Not only are the guys friendly but they go way beyond customer service providing knowledge of other brands of materials that I am not familiar too.

These are some of the best and friendly customer service agents are found at a lumber store every one of them is nice from the boss Tanner all the way down to the outside loaders they're always willing to help you load and unload of course even when it's hot they're still friendly about it the prices are decent for this salt water treated wood so of course I give this a 5 out of 5 rating

After a contractor basically abandoned my project and stopped responding to calls, Decks and Docks took care of me in a manner that I would have never anticipated. Tanner made sure I had quick access to everything I needed, made sure I had rapid delivery, and put me in touch with regional reps.If everyone demonstrated the kind of professionalism and customer care that I found at Decks and Docks, building and renovations would be a genuinely happy experience rather than provoking anxiety.My only regret is that I did not get into the office earlier to learn how I could have protected my project and I could have gotten in contact with reputable contractors rather than the experience I had.Many places say that they treat customers like family, but this is the first time I've truly felt that way.

I recently bought hardware for my dock from the Decks and Docks in Charleston and was very pleased with my visit. Tanner and Sam were a huge help in getting me what I needed. Highly recommend them!

After my contractor walked off the job with all my money I was completely devastated. I really didn't know to do or which way to turn. I went to Decks & Docks to make arrangements for them to pick up decking material. I wanted to switch the color. My contractor had offered to swap out the material for $600. Tanner was the salesperson who assisted me. Right off the bat after hearing about my experience he said Decks & Docks would take care of picking up the material & swapping it out for another color if that is what I wanted them to do & they would waive the delivery & restocking charge. I've never dealt with a company that actually cares more about satisfying the customer than they did about making a sale. It was obvious that I was emotionally distraught. He really cared about making things right. He is a genuinely kind & professional person. After what I had just gone through he was like an amazing breath of fresh air. He gave me the names & contact info of some truly reputable contractors. Decks & Docks appears to be a great place to start your project since they have people you can really trust & a huge selection of high quality decking material.
