I have several pieces from the beautifully unique Southern Gates collection. My dear late FIL gifted me with the cathedral scroll pendant several years ago and it remains my go-to everyday necklace. Over a decade later I still receive frequent compliments on its beauty and uniqueness, and the piece is still shiny and looks brand new. I have since added several more of the Southern Gates pieces to my collection. We live in Ohio so I have only visited the shop once, when visiting my FIL’s home in nearby Mount Pleasant, but I remember the employees being very kind and having a nice conversation while I selected items to purchase. Online shopping is convenient and shipping is quick. Lovely place to buy sterling silver.

The necklace we bought for a gift is absolutely stunning. Although we did not venture downtown for it we had it shipped and it was delivered in only a few short days. Wonderful. I would buy again if the need arises.

I first found Dacuba's 12 years ago on my first visit to Charleston! I am so happy I did! I have been there on three different occasions and have been ordering from them on line. They have quality one of a kind merchandise. The owner and his wife are lovely and so accommodating! Their pieces are gorgeous and I receive more compliments on them. I highly recommend this fabulous store!

The owner of this store is a perfect example of what Charleston as a city represents. He is welcoming, excellent at his craft, and provides you with an unforgettable experience. My fiancée and I got into Charleston for our wedding and her rings became too tight due to the difference in climate compared to where we live. We realized the morning before our rehearsal dinner so at the last minute I ran down the street from The Charleston Place where we were staying and walked into his shop. Told him I need both her rings to be resized and all the time I had was an hour. He immediately started working and with 5 minutes said he could make it happen. If you are needing a ring resized or are looking for a piece of jewelry to buy in Charleston please stop by as you will not find better service!

Great jewelry but I have come downtown and hassled with parking on 3 separate occasions and they were not opened. Cannot trust the posted hours. I would call first.

This business was recommended to me by a family member. My friend and I checked it out one day while on vacation in Charleston and purchased a few pieces. We ended up going back two more times and buying more!! The owner is very welcoming but there is no pressure from him to make a sale. I highly recommend a visit to Dacuba's as the merchandise is beautiful and reasonably priced.
