The fraud department has canceled my debit cards since SEPTEMBER 2022, It's February and I've been waiting since January 11th..... accout LOCKED, Debit card BLOCKED, and no way of paying bills on time... credit score has dropped 43 points and I STILL don't have a debit card! Yeah .... NO!

Following over a year of attempting to cope with the ever changing and very poorly trained staff, I closed my accounts. Somehow, the teller at the Orleans Road branch made a fiasco of it! Unable to receive any competently trained branch customer service to clarify their calculations, I departed and called their customer service support center. I patiently waited my turn as 26th caller in queue. Eventually I was referred to a supervisor and my call was "dropped". Having spent the best part of an hour to close two accounts I recalled why I felt it was time to bank with someone who respects my time. Take heed!

This branch is the absolute worse. Shredded my debit card and messed up a wire transaction all within the same week. I like this bank name, but the customer service at this branch and the ability to follow detailed information lacks.

This new bank opened in my neighborhood. To support this new bank I went in to open a money market account. In November 2019 One clerk opened a checking and one money market account. I wanted to move 100,000 from my other bank but as they were about to close for the day, I left after the above two accounts were opened. Next day I came in and gave the clerk a check of $100,000.00 from my other bank. He said that he will take care of it. I left the bank. Today April the 12th I get a call stating that I only have $5.00 in one account and $10 in another account. If I do not put any more money in then I will be charged another fees. I told him that I dropped off a check for $100,000.00 the very next day. The man said he will call me back which he did and said that his boss okeyd only one charge back from each account. All this while I am thinking that my money from the other bank got transferred to Cres Com bank. No one called me since November but coolly charged me fees. In the mean time I called my bank and found out that no money was transferred or withdrawn. The clerk failed to do his duty and the bank. The manager said he will refund half of the fees if I came in and deposit 100,000.00. I felt taken from this bank specially after non performance from the clerk and now from the manager's attitude. Since I am out of town, I'll be coming into this Charlotte South Park branch and close my account. Watch out folks. I'd stay away from this bank! Folks check the reviews of the employees! You'll be disappointed as I am!

Great bank . Customer service has changed in the last round of acquisitions. Have been with them for years.

Constantly their app and online service is down... if you try more than 2 times to log on it locks you out and then you have to call to change your password etc.. they finally lessened their monthly charges and fees... first south was a better bank.

Had a bad experience with my loan. First appraisal came in as two bedroom. They then ordered another appraisal which showed one bedroom so they made 1/2 a point more on the loan. How is this even legal or ethical! Now we are past our closing date so we are handcuffed. They are making more money due to a "new wording appraisal". We will close but I'll never recommend this scam bank!

fees are ridiculous. staff gives unreliable account information. absolutely hate that first south transitioned to this horrible bank. will be moving accounts elsewhere.
