The employees of this store are rude and ignorant. On my first visit, the employee was on the phone and didn't even acknowledge my purchase. We went in later to purchase beer and the case we bought was broken, the beer cans spilled on the floor and as we were packing them back up, we noticed that several of the cans were empty, but not from the spill. The 2 employees started yelling saying we had to buy the case even though there was damage. They were disgusting and rude! Do not go to this store.

Unfortunately I was never treated like that. I took 2 beers to the cashier and a guy wearing a cap became upset because I asked about beer prices. Of course I need to know price in order to buy. I told him that will be my last time because of bad treatment and he simply kicked me out of the store because according to him I'm always asking the price. Hope the owner see my review.

Stay far away from this store, walked in trying to get orange juice out the freezer and the owner was cleaning the shelf. I asked him to hand me one and he snapped. The guy at the register was just the same. I picked up 3 snacks and orange juice and it was about 25 dollars. They are obviously overcharging people on products and it doesn’t help they don’t have prices on items.

Occasionally shopped here over last 8 years and tonight will be the last time. Employee, or owner not sure, yelled, cussed me out, & then chased me out of the store for entering with a cup of water.Cannot imagine any employee ever speaking to a customer with the degree of poor taste this man showed tonight.I’ve worked next door to you for 8 years.

This was the closest grocery to our AirBNB. One of my favorite things about Charleston is these corner markets. I bought beer and cheddar cheese popcorn here. It has the essentials.

Coming Street Grocery on Coming Street is a conviently located corner grocery store that has all of the essential items that you need when you need them the most. It is very easy to get in and out with exactly what you need when you are on the move. I have had a good experience every time I have shopped here and found what I needed at a relatively good value.

We spent the month in Charleston right down the street from here and because it was convenient to get a few small things from there we had quite a few occasions stopping by. The two men that work there are the most miserable unhappy people of all time. Tried brightening their days multiple times and were even more miserable than the time before. NEVER GO HERE.
