Charleston Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a non-profit home improvement store that sells new and gently used furniture, home accessories, building materials, and appliances to the public at a fraction of the retail price and with no sales tax. Proceeds from the store are used to build homes locally in Charleston, North Charleston, and West Ashley.I recently visited the Charleston Habitat for Humanity ReStore and I was very impressed with the selection of items available. There was a wide variety of furniture, home accessories, and building materials to choose from, and all of the items were in good condition. The prices at the ReStore are very reasonable, and I was able to find some great deals on items that I needed for my home. I also appreciated the fact that the store is a non-profit organization, and that my purchase was helping to support a good cause. The staff at the ReStore was friendly and helpful, and they were happy to answer my questions about the items on sale. I would definitely recommend shopping at the Charleston Habitat for Humanity ReStore if you are looking for a great deal on home goods.

I was sooooo excited to find this location. It was a little dark inside. It could use better lighting BUT it is what it is. The furniture up front is amazeballs and this is a great spot for finding hard-to-find parts. Also great pieces for furnishing a hipster bar or brewery or bookstore. My bargain of the day…5 crate and barrel bowls for only $3. I kept asking “each?” They kept answering “for the set”. LOL.

Great place to find things. Need to be sure aisles are not blocked to a dead-end. Like near the books. I had some of the younger guys open up another walkway.

Everything is reasonably priced at this location. The one in Goose Creek, not so much.

Fantastic thrift store - extremely affordable, and everyone here is friendly. Would love more items (they didn’t carry hammers, screwdrivers, or pots for plants, among a few other things) but appreciate the fact that they are constantly getting in new shipments.

It’s wonderful to support the Habitat for Humanity with donations and/or purchase of household goods and construction materials. The volunteers here are also friendly and helpful. The parking at this store is a little inconvenient—just wherever, on the street—but the facility includes a restroom for customers’ use. Most importantly, perhaps, it’s not too far from the Gnome Café and maybe—if they’ve not sold out yet—a perfect cinnamon bun.;)

Look like they are supplying the staff only. Most interested items were tagged sold. Please remove sold items off floor. Establishment clean and well organized. Hard to find a bargain or any significant item

Risky parking, one door to load and unload so u have to share that with the customers. Workers are smoking close to door. Too many over priced furnitures.
