I'm pretty sure no one reads these, or if they do they don't even care because it didn't look like there were any responses from any reviews. But I want to say that I've lived in James Island for almost 3 years and this used to be a really good convenient store. It had some really good employees and there were some good managers, but I don't know what happened to them. In the last 6 months customer service has gone WAY downhill and today was horrible. I can honestly say I will never shop at that gas station again. I went in there and asked for two gallons of gas and the cashier looked at me like I was stupid and said " I need a number! " And I said well it's 2 gallons how much is a gallon? And she said "Look at the sign!" I was blown away, I could not believe it, but then again I guess you get what you pay for and they are having a hard time getting quality help I am sure, like everyone is. I was just blown away by the rude, horrible customer service. It's almost like she was mad at me for asking her to figure up 2 gallons of gas. Not to mention the fact that the manager, (I'm pretty sure she was by the kind of shirt she was wearing) was standing right beside her and all she did was smile and did not chime in to try to correct the associate at all, blew me away! I was in retail for almost 20 years, a manager for Publix, Walmart, and a few others, and let me tell you customer service is not what it used to be there or anywhere, but if I was a manager still and heard one of my employees talking to a customer like that unjustified I would have absolutely stepped in and handled it. Very disappointed, what a horrible experience and I can honestly say don't waste your time shopping there or stopping there drive a little bit down the road and go to Circle K or drive a little bit further and go to the nice Refuel that's been built, don't waste your time dealing with the rude, horrible employees of the Blue Water on Folly Road!Adding to it again I'm pretty sure no one reads these. Today is April 2nd 2024. So the same girl that gave me bad customer service before, did it again. It's hilarious she still works here with that horrible attitude. She's running the register right now right when you walk in she's on the right. Stuffing her face with food not even paying attention to the customer. I asked for an item and she grabbed the wrong one then gave me an attitude because I said that was not the right one, sickening, she should not be in customer service. But like I said no one reads these so do yourself a favor and shop at the brand new gas station down folly Road on the right. Much better, much cleaner, and much nicer, because this Blue Water is a joke and the people that work there, horrible. Unfortunately what does that say for the person that is in charge of them? Exactly lol!!!

This used to be a great local gas station. Unfortunately their customer service has taken an absolute nose dive. Employees here could absolutely care less now, which makes me care less whether I ever spend my money here again. Customer service is seriously a dying art and is dead here,spend your money elsewhere

This gas station needs improvement. The soda machines are always broken and shoot soda all over the place. I think they should buy new machines. It also seems that the place is never fully stocked. Time for an update!

These New employees close earlier than the store should. People rush from work to get to this location just for it to be closed before it's time. If you close at 12:00 you shouldn't lock your doors at 11:50! I know it's late and everyone wants to go home, but older employees back in the day knew better than to close shop early. I had to drive WAY out of my way to get what I needed for being there at 11:55.

They gave my daughter very cheap cups and then they got mad because she used two but that's the only way she wouldn't have the cup leak. And the music it very loud. It hurts my ears.

The women working were so very pleasant to be around. Very clean bathroom with great customer service. Absolutely made my day with such amazing attitudes!

Despite the fact that this location is 2 mi away from folly Beach the manager demanded that I put shoes on in order to buy fuel. I've been going to this location for several years and now I'll never return

I have never had a better experience in a gas station lol the bathroom was clean, everything was stocked and kortnee and tabatha were very personable. My review is specifically for the service I recieved from kortnee. She spoke respectfully and greeted every person that walked in, upsold every customer and wished them well during the storm we're experiencing all while handling the register and sorting stock at the same time. Give this girl some recognition. She makes your gas station a commodity.

Horrible place to stop. Not conveniently open 24 hrs like other places in the area, but more than that, when open... Rude staff. Lines are always long bc staff at registers are so slow, it seems like they do it purposely. Hard to get in and out of entrance/exit, always blocked. Much higher prices on most items then other gas station stops in the area.
