I don't know what it is about body shops and being "backed up" but apparently there is a huge need for collision repair these days. That being said, you absolutely shouldn't bring your vehicle to baker collision. I could get specific but you wouldn't belive how unprofessional they are, in both the lack of quality in the work to the poor management and customer service. Months and months will go by waiting for your vehicle and when it is finally done it will be dirty, freshly scratched, poorly painted and have loads of random repairs done to it. Good luck!

This place is the worst! They have had my vehicle for over 5 months. This fender bender has been nothing but a huge headache.The communication is a joke. I’m dealing with AMY. If I want to know something I have to call and ask. They aren’t very friendly and they never called me with updates. I’ve been going back and forth with them over labor cost ,that I wasn’t informed about.The other insurance company won’t pay the difference because Baker labor cost is the highest around. So now I have to pay $600 out of my pocket to get my car whenever it’s ready. When I called them today, I was rudely told “YOU WERE INFORMED ABOUT THE LABOR CHARGE WHEN YOU DROPPED OFF YOUR VEHICLE “ Well that’s a lie, because it was towed. I thought I was making a good choice by taking it there, because that’s where we bought it. I will not be going back there for anything! I wouldn’t recommend Baker to anyone!
LESSON LEARNED the hard way .
PSA check your labor charges with the shop and with the insurance so you don’t get crapped on like I did.So ridiculous!!

If I could give them negative stars I would. They lied to me and took my car out for joy rides to the tune of over 3000 miles. I had an oil change before I went to drop off my car and when I got it back 5 months later it was overdue by 2000 miles. They didn't fully fix my car and have had to deal with their bullshit excuses for too long. Steer clear of them and do not use them. I am mad usaa paid them over $13,000 for them to take advantage of their customers.

All the lights that came on in my vehicle after just 24 hours of pick up… on a 6 month vehicle repair. Don’t forget the TPMS light that was on the min I got in vehicle.

my $150k+ car sat for 4 months. promised week after week that it would be done but the parts were delayed. in the interim the car's top leaked, the one they replaced under warranty 3 months prior, the car flooded while left to rot outside, and a minor accident ultimately resulted in the car being totaled not because of the slightest accident damage but because of water damage and mold. Dave is the "Murdaugh" of car repairs

Nightmare of an experience. Insurance company recommended Baker for minor collision repair and they estimated 2.5 weeks. After waiting 5 months for the parts to arrive and another 3 months of begging for updates daily, we finally got our car back and it's not only much much dirtier with new damage and tons of added mileage but they also managed to crack the screen and that now needs to be repaired. 0 stars. Do not recommend.

My car is in worse shape now than when I dropped it off! I got hit from behind and had a small dent in the hatch. They had my car for 2 months and the hatch is fixed but my computer screen is cracked, there are scratches and marks in the paint all around, and they put over 200 miles on my car. The interior was also filthy when I picked it up. This is the only Tesla service center near me, but it'd be worth taking it to Savannah if it has issues again.

I had a great experience recently with Baker collision center! They were meticulous on my new BMW fender repair. From start to finish they were professional and courteous. David Vowels (manager) was excellent and very communicative with me during the repair process. I would highly recommend them for efficient and meticulous body repairs! Had pick up car from baker collision so I called give heads up im on way but the young girl that answer the phone was rude snoban get rude with me. So what you have told copart price and ready pick up, no reason catch attitude with me. Now it's going take forever bc there system on release car is slow

Just a terrible experience from beginning to end. Took the car in for a minor repair after I got rear-ended in a car wash. Car was initially promised to me on September 30. That was delayed by the hurricane - understandable. However, the following Monday I was told that I could not get the car because they were waiting on a “glass part”. When I pressed, I found out that they had somehow broken out my rear window. That was never explained. From there, I was given multiple dates when the car would be ready. Not only were those promises not kept but I NEVER got an update call. I had to call every time to get information, even though Rob had promised me he would call me “if anything changed.” Last week, I was told the glass was in but a Tesla rep needed to come out on Friday to program it. I told them I would be here midday on Monday and was assured that was fine. I show up today and I’m told, “the rear trunk won’t open.” At this point, I lost it - “give my my #*%+ing car - I’ll get that fixed somewhere else.” This place is a zoo - overwhelmed and zero customer service measures in place.

UPDATED 11/7/22:Please steer clear of Baker if you can. While their desire to achieve perfection with every vehicle is clear, they vastly overestimate damages and jump to the furthest extreme when it comes to repairs. This also explains why their back log is so massive. Internal frame damage that was thought to be major and in need of replacing the entire rear frame was just a minor repair that saved a ton of time and $$$ (we got several opinions from long-time expert Tesla mechanics on this, the rear rails did NOT need full replacing). They charged us $50/day in storage for our car essentially sitting for 2 months (approximately $3200). And while some customers are able to pay the difference an insurance company won't, we were not, and Baker Collision saw fit to milk us for every dollar they could while they still had our car in their hands. Granted, they do have a wealth of expertise and great staff, but some of their processes need a LOT of work.

This place has the worst service and attitude to boot. BEWARE. I initially had an appointment to repair my 2017 Evoque from a fender bender in October 2021. I dropped the car off , called two weeks later, they said they were waiting on one part. I needed my car! I was told they would call me as soon as the part was in- NEVER HEARD FROM THEM. I called several times November December, no part. January 2022 my husband was diagnosed with cancer which occupied all of our time. Fast forward to July 22, I called my service representative named Rob, left a message, per usual he NEVER called back. Last week I physically went over there , asked for the manager David, and insisted my car be repaired immediately. Same attitude excuses about being backed up. FOR TEN MONTHS I HAVE BEEN WAITING, and NOONE EVER CALLED ME TO GIVE UPDATES. I am picking my car up today, hopefullySadly, I would like to buy another Range Rover soon, but it won’t happen at this dealership-Luxury car service…what a jokeService: Body & Trim

My experience with Baker collision has been far by the worst they have had my car for over a month and some weeks and I’m just now getting an estimate. The estimate that I received is priced Wayover than the actual damages that’s on my car.They are also telling me I might even need more then what they estimated me there not quite sure yet . I’m dissatisfied with Time estimate and actual estimate.
