The owner was pleasant to work with however, I purchased a 2010 Volvo that has alot of mechanical issues since the day of purchase and I have the receipts to support. First day of owning the car while driving home about 25 minutes away the service engine light came on. I'm assuming that it probably needed an oil change because I got a preinspection at Midas before purchase. I did not contact the owner because he was adamant about buying as-is on his vehicles. So,I took it to Firestone to have the oil change done and ANOTHER diagnostic, the machine came back with several codes and they advised that I needed to take to Volvo to see what the codes meant of course I would have to pay for the 3rd diagnostic. Volvo diagnosis the vehicle for having a bad catalytic converter and the cost with labor would be $4500. At this point I'm frustrated because I purchased a lemon. I haven't had the car in 2 months and already invested 2k in it. Cheaper is not Always good. The main issue is customers are paying for something that has pre-existing issues all to make a sale. It's not worth it. My reputation would mean more to me than earning a penny.

Bought my first my first car here a few months ago, couldn’t be happier. My 2012 Jetta was in great condition when I bought it, I’ve had no problems. Morey was very understanding and easy to negotiate with, I recommend coming to Auto 61.

Really bad customer service! How can you sell vehicles if you’re not willing to answer any questions. I decided to take my money elsewhere

Morey is nice enough, his cars are salvage at best though. They all look really nice until you take them to a mechanic, which he does allow. He allows you to check it out, and for that reason alone I'm giving this place an extra star. At least the customers are given the opportunity to have it inspected so they can know wether it's a good car. If they don't inspect it and just take his word for it, that's their problem. Still my rating is low because his cars are trash, and he gives his opinions on them either without inspecting them at all, being ignorant about cars, or just simply based on a lie that will make someone buy his cars.

My son purchased a car and a week later the oil issue reappears. Took it to a mechanic and the car needs over 4k in repairs. Called the owner and like others he acts like a rude individual. He does not care that he sells lemons. Run and dont look back. Awful awful awful, unethical, rude, should be ashamed of himself. Going to the attorney generals office if anyone would like to join us.

Bought an Audi A3 from these shady people couple years ago . Two days after buying the AC went out because he had just been adding Freon instead of fixing the issue. Also went to wash the car and all the paint rubbed off because he had obviously put a quick spray paint over it to sell it. Terrible people to buy from.

Hi. I actually purchased my car in January of 2020 and it’s been about a year since I’ve owned it. It’s a Volvo V70 and I drove from the Myrtle Beach area to purchase it. I’m very satisfied with the car. When you buy a used Volvo at this price point, you really have to have knowledge of the brand. Especially if you’re buying a used one. This was a good, solid car at a fair price. The owners are nice and yes their office is a very old building. That’s not a big deal. I was there to buy a car, not an old White House. If you’re looking for a Volvo, check this place out.

Auto 61DO NOT BUY FROM HEREI purchased a used 2007 Subaru with 120,000 miles from Auto 61. During the test drive everything sounded fine and was working properly. I purchased the vehicle and within 3 days I started to hear a grinding noise coming from the right side of the vehicle. On day 5 of having the car I took it to a tire and brake shop and was told that the whole rear caliper and brakes were going to need replacement and I was quoted for over $850. (Reminder this is after owning the car for 5 days). I called the owner of Auto 61 to see if he would either fix it himself or aid us in the cost and he was defensive and aggressive over the phone. After trying to have a conversation he ultimately hung up on us.
