Affordable Transmission went well above my expectations and stood behind the work they did on the transmission in my 2005 Escalade. Michael and Jerome stood on the side of customer service verses holding tight on the written warranty which they could have. For that reason I say thank you.

Do yourself a favor and do not take your vehicle here. The owner/manager is rude and unprofessional and won’t return phone calls with an update on the repair even after having your vehicle for over a month. I manage a fleet of 30 vehicles and will never use Affordable Transmission again.

Worst car experience ever. Took my 1998 Chevy S-10 pick-up to the shop to be evaluated because I had trouble changing gears mostly in first gear and reverse since it is a five speed manual transmission. I left it at the shop and didn't hear from anybody for three days so I called to inquire. After finally getting someone to answer the phone I was told that they hadn't been able to look at it yet. After a week had passed I called again and was told they would check it out that day. After I called for two more consecutive days getting from Mike and another so called worker who never comment on anything other than I will have Mike call you after he checks it out. Never getting a return call after two more days I called back and was told the problem was minor and it was the gear shift and they had to order the part and would cost me about $300.00. After a couple more days I called them back again and they told me that it would be ready that Friday. Would you believe when I called them on Friday they didn't answer the phone and they are closed on the weekends. After finally getting my vehicle in the middle of the next week two days later I start having the same problem I took the truck in for. After driving it for a week the gears would change like normal, but a week later the gears start sticking again. I took the the truck back to them and explained what was going on and they told me that they would call me the next day (they didn't). I called them the following day and Mr. call Mike back in a couple hours advised me to do so. After calling back a couple hours later I was told now I need new clutch and it would cost me about $ 800.00 dollars parts and labor. I told him I would come get the truck and he said if I got there by four I could get it today. I went to pick the truck and after someone finally came to the office he pointed to my keys on the desk and told me the truck was parked on the side of the building. I took my truck and now I have a rattling sound coming from the truck that was never there before. I don't mind spending my hard earned money on quality work but this AIN'T the place! So I was without my vehicle for three weeks spent about $300.00 dollars got terrible service and seams like I got more problems than I started out with. Be smart stay away from these clowns!

Rebuilt my transmission in June 2021 It started failing in March '22 so rebuilt again in April. It failed again in June so it spent 3 weeks in the shop again. Now less than a month later it's showing signs of failing again. 3 rebuilds in a year and still issues.

They rebuilt my transmission and we agreed that he was going to replace the rear main seal when he did the transmission which he did not do and now it is leaking and he is not wanting to stand behind his work and replace the seal or pay for it to get replacedI would not recommend him to anyone he does not stand behind his work he does not do what he says he is going to do horrible experience wouldn’t recommend him to anyone Scam artist SCAM. Awesome!awesome!awesome! 110% would recommend very honorable on there work did it in a timely manner and was very honest about what he recommended on making my transmission better. Wouldn’t even think twice on recommendation to someone else or using again.
