Enjoyable shopping experience. Picked out a bracelet, but had to be ordered in a smaller size. Came within a week to my home.

Mrs. Patricia helped me order a wedding ring from Thorsten. She made sure that it was the exact model and size after a hiccup between the website and her catalog, called me back with the total and is having it shipped to my home in Georgia! This is the second time we have ordered from them. They are always so nice and pleasant to deal with. We try to stop by every time we are in Charleston. These ladies are amazing! They have beautiful pieces as well.

It is a little bit of a tourist trap, but there are some fun things here and there - we found a stand making handmade lollipops, which made a great gift to bring home for the kids. The night market was fun because everything is handmade so a little bit more interesting.

Charleston City Market on Market Street in Charleston is always worth a walk through to check out all of the shops and vendors. I have been coming here ever since I could remember and have enjoyed the consistency of the market while it has been through upgrades in recent years with the inside air conditioned portion. There is always a really good variety of different vendors and it is a great place to take people when they are visiting the area as there seems to be at least one item that will catch someone's eye. I am always impressed how everything works here and you can feel all of the history and years as you walk through the market. Everything is clean and well maintained here and it never disappoints.

What a BUST. Rushed to get there for 5 (closes at 6), downtown shuts down early all over... Bad souvenirs, drab stalls. Anyone under 60 might be uninterested.. anyone over 60 might be uninterested. Don't waste your time. Zzzzzzzz.

Many local vendors with small shops here. I bought usual tourist t-shirt here and earrings for my daughter. The vendors are really nice and their products are good quality. Sweet grass baskets were very expensive so I didn't buy that ! Nice shopping place for a tourist like me and on the Carta bus route from my hotel. Loved Callies's Hot Biscuit was delicious for a bite to eat. Enjoy being a tourist and buy something small to take home ! I'll enjoy my Rainbow Row t-shirt when I'm shoveling snow in Ohio in 3 months from now ! I really hate winter !

This was neat to walk around and see all the local vendors selling their wares. **TIP** Would recommend if you go in the evening not walking in the water that goes around the buildings. It's overflow from high Tide come in through the pipes. Someone also said that it was sewer water...

The market is a tourist trap. There's nothing great about it. During the summer, it's packed. Local vendors sell handmade jewelry, hand rolled cigars, clothes, sweet grass baskets, artwork and other trinkets. Some of the items you can cheaper elsewhere. There are a few food spots like Callie's Hot Little Biscuits. However there is limited seating in the market.
