November 4, my husband and I visited this store location and had an excellent experience. Multiple pages of print, which were in certain, restrictive format and needed to be enlarged, but this was no challenge for Byron, not only did he handle us respectfully and expeditiously, but he also gave us choices and supreme recommendations. Byron went out of his way to offer great service and product. Much appreciated.

I don’t return Amazon packages much. I always code to scan that always works. This person tells me I need read instructions. Plus I had to pay $3 to print a shipping label. I don’t have a problem with that but he wasn’t a nice at all. I apologized and I left feeling dumb.

Most unfriendly UPS store that I have ever had experience with. I now drive all the way to the UPS Store on St. Andrews Road in Columbia because I refuse to go to the one in Chapin because they aren’t pleasant, speak rudely and don’t even acknowledge you with a hello or thank-you. On 2 occasions, they tried to get me to buy boxes for Amazon returns that are supposed to be free. They always seems to have new employees almost every time I’ve been there. I’ll never go back. I’d rather drive the extra distance to the one on Saint Andrews where they at least are pleasant and treat you like they appreciate your business.

Went to do an Apple Repair return, and Assistant Manager "Sam" provided unnacceptably unprofessional service. This employee was on the phone when I entered the store, didn't even hang up until after I walked up and we were both at the register for a moment, and was very dismissive towards me. No greeting, stood there waiting on me to speak. I asked what she needed from me to do the return, no eye contact and shrugged, "I don't know, whatever they gave you. The code," and continued to stare down at the register. I looked again at the email from Apple, as there was no barcode or instruction pertaining to UPS, and asked something like, "Do you know what code?" Same attitude, "I don't know, just whatever they gave you. We don't do those that often," and continued to stare at her terminal, offering no assistance. So, feeling uncomfortable at this point, as seemed to be her intent, I just guessed and asked if it may be the Repair ID, and provided that number, which thankfully worked. After that, she seemed slightly more personable and added a kind salutation at the end at least. I typically have good service at this store, having lived here in Chapin for 10+ years, but someone in a "management" position should definitely have better customer service skills or maybe place someone with a better attitude at the front of your store. I say this as a degreed management professional by career and senior doctoral student in a management field.UPDATE: Returned a week later for another dropoff. Was greeted by Sam when entering, provided with instructions, and given a much better overall service experience.
