I took my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee to Camden Tire to get it aligned. I am an occupational automotive technology honors graduate who has been working on cars for at least 40 years. The day before I took my Jeep to Camden Tire, I installed new Moog ball joints and tie rod ends. Before driving my Jeep, I attempted to align the tow, but the single axel fought me every step of the way. I remember Camden Tire being very kind to a Kershaw County Arts Center friend, so I decided to try them. They could adequately align my Jeep because they have state-of-the-art technology, so I took my Jeep in for an alignment. Master automotive technician Charlie Bell worked on my Jeep for about 90 minutes. He straightened out the steering wheel and got the Jeep within alignment specs but refused to accept payment because he felt that the Jeep could not be aligned to his specifications. I was shocked, to say the least, because of his honesty. Finding an honest automotive technician is challenging. Most automotive centers are out to make money and will sell you repairs you do not need, but to find master automotive technicians such as Charlie is located very few and far between. The tow on the front of my Jeep was set correctly, so I would have never known if the alignment was completed correctly or not; due to Charlie's honesty, I will be a lifelong customer of Camden Tire. Again, honesty and the automotive repair industry do not go hand in hand, but from my experience, it does at Camden Tire.

Traveling in the area and had a problem with a tire. While they were unable to repair or replace the tire they were very accommodating as I waited for the tow truck. I was received as a neighbor.
