I have known Steven Pettigrew since I was literally a small child, and his daddy (and mama!) ran the International Harvester parts store in Calhoun Falls. Steven really knows his business as well as his community - he is a former mayor of Calhoun Falls.

We fell in love with this little store 2 years ago when we started camping at Calhoun Falls State Park. They are very friendly and helpful. Now every time we come camping we have to go to Pettigrews whether we “need” anything or not just to look around. Never know what you might find.

For the better part of 30 years I would need to stop by Pettigrew's most every weekday (workday) to pickup or order something for my work, never had a problem. They were always willing and able to help their customers. A super nice family business . Sure miss the one's that have gone on. I retired from work a few years ago and don't get by there much anymore but I know the Pettigrew Family is still as nice and friendly as ever. I live in Due West and patronize The Local Due West Supply, another family owned small town store. One thing I'll never forget about the Pettigrew's is Ms. Pettigrew told me about a large black panther being seen in her driveway. Thanks, Mr. Bob , aka catman. Lol
