The cakes I bought ( 3 pieces of cakes by pound, honey cake and two other cakes ) taste very dry. I feel they are not fresh. . . I had much better Russian cakes at other events and local Russian store’s from my experience.

Be careful if you shop here, most items I looked at were past their expiration date. I also tried some of their Pirozhki and it wasn’t good. There are other Slavic stores in the area to go to that have a better assortment of merchandise and don’t sell expired products.

AMAZING place. Borsch A+, cheburek is divine, coffee is ground and made to order. Great selection of slavic products, from pastas and teas to pickled tomatoes and Soviet sodas. I wish I lived in the area so I could become a regular. Я люблю тебя русский магазин))

My favorite (so far) of Spartanburg's many Central and Eastern European grocery stores. The selection is excellent (pelmeni, pierogi, cookies, cakes, breads [try the Lithuanian-style brown bread, which has a hint of apple], meats and cheeses, and some fresh produce). An added bonus is that they make and sell fresh borscht, cabbage rolls, and other Eastern European fare, for dine-in or take-out. The borscht (served hot with a spicy tomato base, at least in cooler months) is not to be missed!

Excellent store! I like Russian and Ukranian stuff so this was the place for me. Nice staff and cool products, some that you've never heard of before. Got a waffle with frosting and it was good. Want to go back to get some vareniki. ??????

Edit 04/23/2023 yet another one thats been open, and sealed in a vacuum pack!!! Under what circumstances its been open? Maybe it was sitting on the floor and someone stepped on it? Maybe its been dropped on the floor of a delivery truck and came open?! You guys are cheap as hell. Its only $7.99 and you decide to keep and sell a broken package, instead of throwing it away.Usually I'd choose this eiropean store over any in the area. But recently my mom purchased this marinated fish. The pack was open, and was taped shut with a clear tape. Like you couldn't see it at first because there was no oil coming out. After unloading groceries it was obvious the pack was tampered with.Граждане христиане, отделеннные, пятидесятники, совсем страх и совесть потеряли?? Так не делается. Покайтесь.

Really awesome people, and REALLY awesome cafe! The people that work here are very kind, the shop is full if cool ingredients I have never seen before, and the cafe has some amazing borscht. Great to see a Ukrainian community in my state.

This was great when it just opened I don’t know what’s happening to it . Cake from bakery tasted Old like it’s been sitting on a shelf for a while. Oh chocolate bars were expired over two months I am even afraid what else is expired that I bought today . They need some improvement For checking freshness and expiration on products.
