Honestly the worst place to send your children. They have 18 y/o kids working there and they spend most of their time yelling at the toddlers or listening to their airpods. Extremely neglectful care.

We moved to South Carolina in August. Me coming from a childcare center where my daughter also attended I was very nervous. This was the first time my daughter would be at a school without me. But upon our first visit and Ms. Tameka made us feel comfortable and ultimately that this was where we should put our daughter. Since then she has loved it there, all of her teachers have been caring and loving and I just couldn’t have asked for anything more than what we are getting. Currently my daughter is home with me during quarantine but I still am so thankful and grateful for them being open to those that need it during these times!

When I say 3 times is a charm!!!! My first encounter with the SSH was the Broad River Rd Location in 2007! More recently- in 2016 my children went to the Decker Location! BUT WHEN I TELL YOU THE AWARE GOES TO THE BLYTHEWOOD CENTER LOCATION # 110!!!!!! Words could never describe how pleased I am!! From speaking with the Director Mrs. Tameakea Ballard via phone to finally meeting her last month!! Asst. Director Jasmine and Tameakea are the perfect duo!!! All staff are pleasant and hard working! God bless you all !!!!

My experience with Sunshine House has been both good and bad. The first few years my son was here things went well. The staff was great and my son thrived. Then with a new center director things started to go down hill. We had many issues with bullying. When the current director, Ms. Tameaka came in things definitely changed for the better. The bullying issues were handled and my child has been much happier. The recent staff changes and new teachers have also been great. The kids seem very happy and I have been as well. Thank you for creating an environment where I can finally update my review from 2 stars to 5!

Several bad experiences! First day my daughter attended, I picked her up to another child drooling on her pillow . When asked for Lysol none was in the classroom , no type of disinfectant spray was in the infant room . Next situation I spoke with assistant director and let her know that I will not be picking my daughter up in the evenings and to please send EVERYTHING back with the person picking her up , That didn’t happen . Final Straw was when the direct called me about a situation and when I told her I’m really tired of this daycare she LAUGHEDDDDDDDD ! Send your children to a place with more professional staff .

My experience has been very positive at this facility. The director is caring and is very knowledgeable about the childcare industry really making me feel comfortable with my children attending the academy! She wasn’t too busy to listen to my concerns but she wasn’t pushy when trying to game enrollment for my children and that I can appreciate!

My son has been attending The Sunshine House since the middle of 2016. The director and staff are very friendly and nice. My son has a hard time being dropped off and the staff always welcomes him with a hug and kind words. It's important that as a parent you feel comfortable with the daycare that your child will spend majority of the day; the staff has definitely made my son and my family comfortable since his very first day till now.

The staff are friendly. My first child started attending this location in 2010 until she started school 2014. As of August 2017 now my second child is attending and she also is thriving well and loves it.

Really did not have a good experience. Center Director did not provide what she promised. Whenever we brought up our concerns she try to defined and justify instead of listening and trying to understand. Our Son has been sick twice within a 3 month time span and the staff hasn't been consistent in the toddlers room since the day we enrolled or Son. I will not! I will NOT Recommend this Day care to anyone. And this review is not coming from a angry client. Its coming from a concerned Father. It only took me and my fiance 3 months to realize this was not the right Day Care for our Son.
