Horrible horrible horrible… billing tactics are just horrible and no on can answer for the overcharges. I had to put alerts on my daily usage and find that it doesn’t make any sense. I can be gone all week everything unplugged and panel turned off and my kWh are higher than a day when I’m home using the electricity. The lack of communication is the worse no one to speak to and there no location to walk-in for answers.

O hate this company. Ashley is the worst! It shouldn't cost so much to run your heater when it's freezing outside.Robbing people. We should have choices instead of being forced to use this sham of a scam company.

If I could give a zero I would!! On September 12, 2022 someone vandalized Fairfield's transformer which in return caused damage to our air condition circuit box. Spoke to Thomas Black who informed me that Bruce Bacon said he is not going to do anything for the customers who were affected by the vandalism. These companies DO NOT care about the customer! They only care about making more money at the customers expense. Why not have monies set aside to assist the customers who had to pay $500-$600 for the replacement that was not our fault. We voted for these people in hopes our concerns would be met. Fairfield is a Fraud!!

This is getting ridiculous. In the 15 years we lived here we have lost power very few times. Now, everytime it rains, it goes out and only in the dead of summer. Get it together.

June in the Billing Department and another lady I spoke with right before her (didn’t get her name) were the rudest most unhelpful people to say they work with customers. June listened to respond instead of listening to understand. If I had a choice in changing companies I definitely would. Never had to deal with them until a misunderstanding recently. If I could give this company 1 star EVERYWHERE, I would. Learn how to talk to people. Learn customer service skills first! Terrible customer service as stated below by someone else as well.

This is a rip off of a company. 2.45 percent extra to use credit card to pay. 5$ membership fee on top of your bill. Oh and on top of that if your electric is already connected under different name but you want them to put it under your name it’s a $40 just to do so. No one even has to come out or do anything but switch the names. This is the worse electric company I’ve ever been with. I hate that this is the only company for my area. I’ve lived in multiple states and cities and this has never been a issue. I think this company is just digging for as much money as they can.

Fairfield Electric is the best company I have every been with. They are always there when I need them. Whoever I talked to on the phone has a very nice attitude.

Pricing is too high with Fairfield Electric. With Duke Energy, I paid less with a house twice the size than I do now. Fairfield Electic, I have reduced my heat even lower in the winter and air higher in the summer and my bill is still higher than with Duke.

Staff is very rude. Very poor customer service. I shouldn't have to remind staff (especially June) that their attitude and tone needs to remain at a professional level. It's my money that I'm paying to have this service! Not yours! (Just a reminder!) Professional courtesy goes a long way. If you don't want to deal with the public and answer questions that we have pertaining to our account then find another job. I really wish I could use a different company! I would give negative stars if it were an option.

I actually love their service but hate that having to deal with them. I have two rental properties with them, they always want $40 to set up a "new" account, run my credit and never take into consideration that I have had an on and off account with them for over 10 years. Why they can't have default customers is ridiculous. You can't apply for service online which is just exhausting to repeat everything to the service representatives because they can never hear you. If I had a choice I would not be with them.
