This store is nuts. If I don’t take a receipt, then you threaten to not ship my package? I don’t want a receipt! I ship for my business and ship 100 packages a week. I don’t want the paper.And just think, if you didn’t print EVERYONE a receipt, you might not need to charge people $5 to print on the same paper…?UPDATE: Looks like the lady actually didn’t ship my package as it’s been sitting in this branch for 5 days. I REPEAT, DO NOT USE THIS BRANCH IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE!!!!

I moved from Florence SC here and dropped already packaged and labeled UPS packages with no issue at the UPS store there. This store wouldn’t take them, they made me stand in the back of the line while I watched people do time consuming packing up goods. I tried to save money by having mine ready to go, they said I had to wait in the back of the line. I had a huge stack of boxes. It was frustrating. In fact a few months ago an elderly gentleman was told if he dropped and left his already packed/ labeled package it would be thrown out. Everyone in the line was snapping at each other. The tone & attitudes by everyone in the store from the people in the line to the check out were very tough to deal with, everyone was in a bad mood.Other UPS stores are not like this. Very unnecessary.

If I could zero stars I would. This UPS store refuses to accept my package with their return labels. 20 other people in line all their packages were accepted but once it was my turn they refused. I was told it was a USPS label when it’s clearly labeled UPS. I call UPS they confirmed it was their label but the store once again refused to take the package. I believe this is racially driven. Hence the white store owner in white neighborhood. I will never return to this store and hope others do the same. I have officially filled a complaint with UPS and BBB.

Went on maps to look at their Saturday hours and noticed the negative reviews! I have shipped many prepaid boxes but also full service as well and I have never personally encountered rude behavior toward myself or anyone else in the store. The behavior of the staff here is always friendly, helpful and courteous. I have been charged for taping of boxes (when I have neglected to do so) and have no issue paying to have them do it as opposed to taking it back home only to have to return once I’ve taped it-definitely seems more cost effective to have them do it (I screwed up so…)!

The majority of items I shipped from UPS store 1500 in Bluffton arrived broken. I contacted the owner Matt Bautista and he said he would file a claim on my behalf, that was a month ago. I reached out to Matt on March, 20 asking for status of claim and he responded 'they were still waiting to hear' Then complete radio silence. Matt will not respond. I spoke with UPS corporate today and spread the word that this is by far the single most frustrating and unprofessional experience I have ever encountered. Seriously, how low can you go? You break an elderly woman's possessions and then you lie about filing a claim? And then you refuse to return calls or emails? Your reviews are horrible for a reason. You have no integrity. Six weeks? Still no answers!

This review is long overdue. I’m not currently a frequent shipper, but over the last 10 years of living here, I’ve used this store for 95% of my shipping needs. Typically it’s an Amazon return — when the seller allows packaging & shipping included, the employees and/or owner have never failed to handle everything professionally. When I need to package a return, I do. On rare occasions I pay to have them do everything for me when I’m too busy or don’t have the right size box. One year I shipped over a hundred 38 lb boxes which were all pre-labeled and dropped off and they never complained! And the gal that’s been there for years even got the door for me once because she wasn’t busy helping customers. Once I had 5 of those heavy boxes and was grateful to discover they had a cart for me to use. My most frequent boxes have been family gifts and all the previous addresses are automatically pulled up when they enter my number. As a smaller store, they don’t have a “drop off” location for pre-printed labeled shipments and I understand why — several months ago I accidentally took one of my husband’s pre-printed overnight envelopes which should have gone to a different carrier and they spotted it immediately.The staff here are hard working and really know what they’re doing. Unfortunately I’ve witnessed them being treated rudely by customers but they’ve always responded professionally. A few of the poor reviews here spell out why some customers have been frustrated and it’s nice they’ve replied to clarify and have video to review if needed.

If I had 0 it would be my ranking for this store .The owner of this place is miserable , very rude and unfriendly , with a lack of customer skills and bad attitude . Apparently he doesn’t care about customers and if they ever come back. I will definitely not coming back . Don’t see any need to support his business . I will better go somewhere else where customers are valued and treated well.
