I have had my prescription at the Publix Pharmacy on Buckwalter for years. I cannot remember not one bad incident. They are very friendly very professional go out of their way to help you. I moved closer to 170 but I still go over to Buckwalter to get my medicine from Publix. It’s like family. Please continue giving the wonderful service that you give. We being on the other side of the counter she really respect those who do such a great job keeping us healthy. Hats off to you all and a big hug thank you!!!!………

Update: I just could not justify paying $50 more due to insurance, so I called up and in Heather's defense, she did tell me she would refund me the difference if I used my other insurance. I have 2 Rx insurances and one is better than the other. I went back to Publix and she used the better one and refunded me the difference. They are slammed at Publix Pharmacy all the time.
Original post: Switched from CVS because Publix is closer. May have been a mistake. Rx are never ready on time and they never told me the meds would be 1/2 the cost if I did not use my insurance, but used Good Rx instead. Very disappointed!

I called the pharmacy right away after my prescription was sent to them because the last time we came they said it would be 45 min. It was 3:05 p.m. I gave them the info, mentioning we had an hour drive home but they said it would still be 45 min. Returned at 4:30 & not ready. Said it would be 45 min. We explained what hOpened and hopefully now it will be ready.

Cannot stress enough how inadequate the staff at this location is. High wait times, improper insurance billing, lack of communication. They are more interested in their phones and personal conversations than work.

I don't suggest trusting your Rx needs to this branch of Publix pharmacy. I understand there are shortages nationwide but their mediocre customer service, lack of compassion and general laziness was quite shocking. They asked me to wait 30 minutes yesterday for my prescription, I waited patiently and they didn't bother to tell me they didn't have enough medication to fulfill my prescription until they handed it to me. They assured me that it could be filled the following day (which was today, Friday) I sent my elderly father to simply pick up the balance of the pills and he was waived off and told to come back after 4:30. He did return after 4:30 and was told sorry they didn't have any and their shipment didn't come in. They didn't offer to find it at a neighboring publix or do anything to assist him in the cause. When I called them to ask them why I had to chase around my prescription in Hardeeville and the rest of Bluffton they responded, " there is a backorder- you want us to waive our hands and make it appear?" I got snide responses and lackluster excuses - to top the lax attitude and comments. Medication may be necessary to your client's wellbeing...you HAVE A DUTY of CARE. Pharmacists and pharmacies owe a duty of care to their customers to prevent harm just as a doctor owes a duty of care to his patients. They have a legal duty to fill lawful prescriptions without unnecessary delay.Management, please train your staff in professionalism, kindness and courtesy. Pharmacies bring huge $$$$ influx to the location- and if your current crew keeps it up - you will fail miserably.

Awesome people. Always pleasant and helpful. Impressed with the fact they have taken the time to call to let me know that my Rx is not available due to med needing to be ordered. (I am prescribed some non customary meds that are not typically in stock). Thank you Buckwalter Pharmacy.

I just dumped Kroger Pharmacy for Publix. They hire people who hate people and their job. Their staff actually goes out of their way to bust balls.

went shopping here for sandwich fixings cause I knew this was the one place I could find alphalpha sprouts to go on my sandwich. go pick out a few sides. then head to the produce section before I head to the deli. go to the organic section where they usually keep them. can't find them. walk a few laps around the produce in case they moved them. finally ask someone and they say they don't carry them anymore. put my few items back & walked out. no point in shopping there anymore overpriced on everything else don't carry the main thing I came in for.

I'd give zero stars if I could. Just.. come on. Train people properly. RONALD was inattentive, seemed like he could care less, and overcharged me for a sandwich for the second time this month. Third time I've been overcharged by this store for a sandwich, total. MANAGEMENT needs to get it together.

I'm a Publix fan, and I was thankful to come upon this Publix while headed home to Savannah. This is a larger Publix than I'm used to, but the larger deli and bakery are a plus! The consistency of cleanliness, weekly BOGO specials, fresh produce, specialty cakes and wonderful deli made subs, fried chicken/wings/rotisserie chicken keep me loyal!

As it is the holiday season we understand there's a limit on produce but, any discrepancy we got clarification and were still terrorized by a staff member. Micro aggressions are not a pleasant experience when shopping especially for charity. When dealing with food energy is powerful and we pray that no negative energy is transferred to anything being donated to families. Other than the negative experience today the store is set up nicely and the are helpful staff members like Mike in the store.

So I came to this new Publix because it is on my way home from work. The layout is quite different than the other Publix supermarkets I am used to so it gets me confused. For example the bakery is way inside when at other ones it is at the entrance

Oh I love this Publix. When the new Kroger's opened, I tried it, and although I've gone three or four times, each time the staff is more rude and the food is less fresh. When I go to Publix, they greet me at the door, they help me get what I need, and everything is super clean and fresh. Don't bother paying the extra money at Kroger, stick to Publix exclamation
