Had a quote (reasonable) by Phil over the phone for break pads/rotors front/back replaced so scheduled appt 8:30 am to have them replaced, as I confirmed with Phil over the phone weeks ago. Came in and the person at the desk had no clue why I was there, (you need your breaks repaired?) had to explain that I had appt to have my breaks/rotors replaced. Was told someone would call me to let me know the estimate, which I was confused about since ai was given one to have my breaks and rotors replaced, but went along with it. 2 1/2 hrs later was called to tell me that they did an inspection and quoted me 500 dollars more then original quote. Needless to say, I picked my car back up and was then charged 58 dollars to have it inspected for something I already knew I needed/wanted. And if they had mentioned this prior to me dropping my car off I would have been more understanding, but the lack of communication and price gouging is disgusting. Attempted to voice my concern, was then responded by a monotone rebuttal, seeming like Mary had it down pat on what to say with an attitude. After I noted to her that her rebuttal seemed flawless, she agreed and I said that this must be a common complaint they get and she agreed. Lived here for 20 years and Messex was always very reputable and honest. Not any more.

Be nice if you could update your hours on Google . Your guy working on the trailers is great but the rest of the front office staff are not easy to deal with. Prices are all over the place. Was definitely better with previous owners.

This gas station is not one my go to's in bluffton . There is No $1.50 air station if you should need air. Inside the store is packed to the gills with tchotchkes. However , PARKER'S is the only gas station in DT Bluffton proper that is worth going to .

Needed an oil change before heading out of town and even though they were apparently busy they fit me in and got it taken care of. Other places were busy as well but they would not take the time to help me out of a jam. I can understand that it wasn’t their problem that I we’re short on time and didn’t plan well. I called and spoke to Jason and he told me to drop it off and he took care of it for me. I thought the customer service was very helpful.

I had an absolutely brutal experience with Messex and will never go there ever again and would urge others to take their business elsewhere. Went to pay for the repair work and it was more expensive than quoted the prior day. I asked why and was told by the main guy "your gonna make an a** out of yourself over 40$", "I should've just told you to leave from the moment you dropped it off", "never come back you a** hole". I simply asked why my repair wasn't the price you quoted... The general manager of this place is a disgrace, has zero personal skills and is flat out rude. Waited 5 minutes to even be acknowledged after standing tight in front of him with no one else in the shop then This is the way I get treated? Surprised they are even in business.

Soooooo. I wound up with a nail in my tire. Simple fix. Just a plug. I called every tire service in bluffton only to hear them say they don't have time for me. Ultimately, I was referred to this company. Not only did they make time for me I was in and out in less than 3 minutes. The employee was pleasant and didn't make me feel as if I was inconviencing him. As a landscaper I needed my truck. They were a huge help!

Update from Dec 30: the owners have contacted me and reimbursed me for the gas and my clothing. They were very apologetic and sincere. I appreciated their gesture to make the situation right.****************I stopped here to get gas today, and the pump hose disconnected from the handle, spraying my entire body with gasoline. It then dumped what appears from my billing, another 6 gallons on the ground before they shut the pump off. I was charged for all the gas that spewed out all over me and the ground due to poor pump maintenance. At no point was i offered a reimbursement for anything. I have had to wash everything i was wearing 6 times and it still smells like gasoline. My whole car smells like gasoline. Never in my life has anything like this happened. Their reaction was just, "I'm sorry"..

Been getting gas here for years. I had a flat on my trailer and the were great getting me in early to have it repaired. Great service and great price.

Really rude....saw the firestone sign and since my tire pressure light had come on I stopped in. I was told they don't check tires just sell them and didn't know anyone around the area who could. Firestone should make him remove their sign.....

This guy is a crazy drunk and is not worth his attitude. Loose cannon stay away!!! Go to Pooler for better mechanic.
