We found a stray in the middle of the road and wanted to get him checked out to make sure he was okay and they got us in same day! They were very thorough and genuinely cared for him and I couldn’t thank them enough for being so amazing to him! They are also priced very reasonably considering all we had them do. Thank you so much for making sure the big guy was healthy and for keeping us informed during the whole process! We love our fur babies!

I’m a super anxious cat mom and they are always so helpful and answer any questions I have even if they can get excessive :,)
My cat, Sushi, can be extremely fractious and we’ve had trouble getting him the care he needed for his previously undiagnosed asthma due to this. He is now diagnosed being treated for his asthma and I’m very thankful for Dr. Anna’s patience with him!

I recently moved my two rescue dogs to Lowcountry Vets and couldn't be happier! They are both "nervous Nellies" when it comes to to their vet visits and Dr. Hutchins and her team made them very comfortable! Also, my pitt mix would never let my prevous vet office trim his toe nails, even after trying several times to medicate him starting a day prior to his apptment. The only option they gave me was to have him sedated ($230) to trim his nails. I didn't want to continue with this method and decided to try Lowcounty Vets and it was a completey different experience. I did give him a mild sedative that moring but they had NO issues trimming his nails!

I’m writing this to help others consider the practices of this business before you fall victim.
My experience with the staff here was like going to an Automotive Repair Shop.
My dog had a check up and all went well.The following visit was scheduled a week after for a rabies shot. My Dog became deathly sick after this shot with non stop vomiting and diarrhea. The dog became so bad I thought she could die. She could barely walk after 8 days.
I called today told them the situation and they got me in a few hours later. I also expressed concern that she was fine until given this shot. I don’t know what the dosage was given but it was either too much or something of an allergic reaction.
The Veterinarian agreed with me she couldn’t rule out that possibility. They took the dog back without us present at first which I found strange. The doctor returned to show me an extensive list of test and procedures to determine simply what was wrong with my dog. I again reiterated that if it was possibly related to the shot I would appreciate them waving re-check fee which they called it.
Long story short…. They came back with over 600.00 in recommended services just like the dealerships do and even had the nerve to charge for the recheck. I ask them to speak to the Owners and was told the receptionist had reached out to them in less than 2 minutes of requesting it. They said the owners wouldn’t wave.
This is a small town with plenty of places to get your pet the best possible treatment!
Take your time do your research.. Theses places love to pack in charges for no other reason than price gouging.
I’m now taking my two dogs elsewhere along with several other friends who heard about my experience. All I can say is word travels fast!
I reached out to the owners and asked the staff to have them call. You guessed it… crickets!
Extremely disingenuous and dishonest business practices to the people who supported your business for years.

We had a great experience at Lowcountry Vets! We have 2 very anxious dogs and are always nervous going to the vet, however the customer service was exceptional and put all of us at ease! We were promptly in a room by ourselves instead of a wait in a waiting room with other animals. I highly recommend Lowcounty Vets!

We had a wonderful experience with Dr Anna and the staff. Although it wasn’t the news we expected or wanted to hear they were extremely compassionate, patient, and understanding as they took care of my best friend. Highly recommend.
