I was RESCUED by Hilton Head Buick GMC!!!I was on vacation with my Hummer EV when my vehicle wouldn't charge at a Circle K fast charger. I was very concerned about the error codes that the charger continued to pop up. I called the closest GMC dealer and explained my predicament and that without charging I would be stranded 300 miles from home. BRYAN from service was so understanding and accommodating. He offered to work us into the schedule to determine what was wrong but cautioned that parts could be an issue.After clearing some codes, the vehicle fully charged on the GMC super charger. SO RELIEVED. During the charging process, they even offered to shuttle my wife and I to the local Outlet stores. Our courteous driver, ED, was super accommodating and even came back to pick us up.110% Satisfied with the staff bending over backwards to help us enjoy our vacation.

I had shopped around for a new car and picked out two vehicles on the lot that I was interested in. I called and left a message twice for a sales person to call me, no one did. My husband went in and asked for a sales person. He was greeted by Dave Prince who showed him the car and went into sign papers. While sighing , my husband noticed a costumer parking very close to the car and wondered how she would get out. When he got home with the car he realize there was a ding in it that was not there before and was put there by the costumer opening her door , as we had taken pictures of it.He called Dave who said send me a picture and he did. Couple days later he wanted me to come in so that he could get a picture so that they could pay to have it fixed. I went in and took about an hour to get me connected to onstar Which I did not want. Dave took a picture of the scratch, dent in my car and said he would talk to his boss and get back to me. They do have a man that comes on site so after not hearing back I went to him . I did get a text from Dave asking if I was happy with my car and I said yes But you were going to get back to me on the dent. No reply. Long story short I paid for the dent to be painted and that $65 lost them a customer. We also have been looking at a new truck there and took our business elsewhere.

update!! 'New' mechanics just looked at my Yukon that I had serviced at the GMC service department in Bluffton and learned two VERY disturbing facts! The first and most disturbing one is that considering the LACK OF time the repair took, it was impossible for them to have repaired it at all... secondly, even if they had repaired it (and charged me over $700), my vehicle would not be leaking oil every single day!!!! I AM SO DISGUSTED .... I WILL BE TAKING ACTION REGARDING THIS issue!

I had a poor experience with the Cadillac service front desk. The air conditioning was not working. I told them that I was only in the area for a week. The only available appointment was on a Thursday that I was leaving on Saturday. I was told the diagnosis could be done on Thursday and the repairs, if necessary, done on Friday. I brought the car in for a 1:00 appointment and was told that only Julie could check me in, and she would find me after her lunch. It never happened. I located her and she tells me that the diagnosis will take 1-3 hours. The car still had not been moved by 1:20. She also said any needed parts will not be available until the following mid-week. I asked if the diagnosis could be performed so that I could get the repair done in another town. She says that the diagnosis cannot be performed without a repair and other stories that added to my awareness that this was a waste of time, and nothing was possible.

My wife drove from Miami to Bluffton to visit an ailing brother last Fri. After the visit she left Sunday to come back when a warning light came on in my 2012 Acadia. Being Sunday my only option was to call AAA or Onstar to have the car towed to your dealership. Early Monday morning I called and Mr Joe Lapp answered. He had already looked at the car and being 500 miles away I had to rely on him. I could not have gotten a more professional and understanding person to solve my situation/problem. He showed concern for my wife, got the car diagnosed on a busy Monday morning, got the alternator installed and Pat was on the road by 3:00. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate the fine service from your dealership thanks to Mr. Lapp. He even asked Pat to call him when she got back to Miami. I would also like to show my appreciation to Ms. Pauline.
