This is a complaint for Cashier #0206. She has the nastiest attitude I have ever experienced at food lion. If you don’t want to work then don’t. You choose the job, then do it right. I was checking out Sunday 6/16 at 2:25pm she was throwing the food everywhere & I had to bag it. I don’t work for food lion, YOU do. She kept asking me what is this what is that, it’s jalapeños and tomatillo. Don’t you know your vegetables ? I then proceed to pass my card, she hands me the receipt and I state I’m not finished paying she states “well you didn’t say that”. I don’t have to, you have eyes just like everyone else. I stayed quiet and proceed to finish. She didn’t even thank me at the end of the transaction nor did I receive a hello when we initiated the transaction. She seems to be a very miserable person, if you don’t want to work then you shouldn’t. If you NEED to work then be a respectful and polite human being. Attitude like that can make you loose your job and it’s not worth it especially if you’re in need of it. I am reaching out to corporate, she doesn’t seem to enjoy where she works.

So Food Lion was a clean, friendly staffed, quick to help experience today. However, ww went for ribeye steaks and there wasn't one available. In their defense, we also checked another grocery store and they also didn't have any. Bummer.

I like the the food lion brand but this is the worst run supermarket I've ever been in. Not just worst run food lion the worst run of any brand. The store opens at 7 but at 10:30 none of the daily specials are ready. Especially the meat department. Always empty in the morning and no specials ready by 10:30. Nobody in customer service until after 10 sometimes 10:30. Skinny store female manager always out front chain smoking. Cashiers left to deal with problems on there own. Just poorly managed from the top. Not a disgruntled employee just a customer who often frequents the store out of convenience but find myself going less and less

Good selection of produce and fruit along with good sales on meat, poultry and fish.

Not a single male employee washed their hands even after unclogging a toilet or using the restroom. That is completely unsanitary and unexpected from a food lion.
