In Feb 2020, I purchased a cocker spaniel puppy from a breeder about three hours away in South Carolina. Dr. Parker was the second vet to treat him. I brought him to him to cure an ailment he had whereby he was suddenly not drinking any water nor was he eating any food. I was using an eye dropper at home to try and keep fluids in him. Dr. Parker was absolutely useless. I think my pet's death was a sacrifice in the planning after much expenditure just to make me look bad. He and his staff also did not know how to adequately train me to clip his nails myself. I think they wanted me to pay the fee so they could continue doing it. In the end, to save his life, the best option was to remove him from the predators around me in my apartment building who had caused the issue by breaking in and I returned him to the breeder by driving him three hours back. My hope of course is that he survived but with no help from this practice at all.

Our pup is a rescue dog and is very anxious!! The staff here was very understanding and super professional. We loved the side entrance away from other dogs. This was so helpful.

We went here in April for an emergency concerning both my pups with diarrhea. The emergency team was amazing. Listened all our concerns & treated us like family. After this amazing experience we decided to see if the regular clinic was worth a shot. Oh we made a great decision. My GSD has been dealing with GI issues & trying to heard and not felt judge was getting to be hard. (Hard enough that we were debating on finding another vet in a different city/in my home town or Charleston or Savannah.) We took a shot after talking others and read reviews which lead us to decide to try and see how Costal Vet as a regular clinic would go. Boy, we made a great decision!! Dr. Martin & the team made me feel listened to and heard. I couldn’t have asked for better. We are thankful. Both of our pups are being switched to them permanently!!

Terrible in responding to issues. We had to keep calling them because we couldn't get answers. Took 7 days and $800 to figure out what we thought it was to begin with. Zero sense of urgency. Not going back to this place.

Dr. Parker is absolutely the best vet in all of South Carolina. If you need someone to take care of your baby, he is the man to see he has so much knowledge and so many connections. He is definitely worth driving to see. I do not trust my dogs to anyone else anymore, except Dr. Parker And Coastal Vet. I love that. they have an emergency center now.

I took my dog Doodle here one night as an emergency to get stitches. The staff helped right away and were all very kind. The price was also very affordable. They were able to perform the procedure super quickly and we were on our way home with medicine in hand after just an hour. All his stitches healed without issue and the staff made sure to follow up with us. They were also very helpful in transferring all the medical information that night over to our primary vet. All in all a great experience and easy process.

We were visiting from out of state and the doctor and staff treated us and our dog like family. Their recommendations helped our dog quickly recover so we could all enjoy our trip. Highly recommended.

We originally went to the after-hours emergency service at this location when our dog ate 3.5lbs of chocolate (you read that correctly)?. The emergency service was so wonderful that we decided to try the regular clinic. So glad I did, the vet and assistants were all so kind and great with my dog!! Highly recommend!

I met Dr Lane and associates during a very difficult time , as we said good bye to our 16 year old Sunny . Dr Lane treated me and Sunny with the upmost respect , compassion and kindness . I really don’t think I’ve ever had a veterinarian be as empathetic as she was with me . I felt blessed to have her with us as I said good-bye to my best friend .

Been a client of Dr. Parker's for 27 years now. One of the most compassionate people you will ever meet. This man doesn't help our fur babies for the money.... He helps because he truly cares. There are not enough superlatives to describe this veterinarian. There's something to be said about experience and dedication. Look no further folks.

Great Vets.... sometimes appoinment overlaps .... so small waits sometimes.24 hr emergency service.... thus to have my pups records onsite... great bonus in case of emergency!
