Terrible in responding to issues. We had to keep calling them because we couldn't get answers. Took 7 days and $800 to figure out what we thought it was to begin with. Zero sense of urgency. Not going back to this place.

Dr. Parker is absolutely the best vet in all of South Carolina. If you need someone to take care of your baby, he is the man to see he has so much knowledge and so many connections. He is definitely worth driving to see. I do not trust my dogs to anyone else anymore, except Dr. Parker And Coastal Vet. I love that. they have an emergency center now.

I visited this clinic 3 times on Feb 4,2023. The entire staff was deeply committed and caring both to my precious dog who was in agonizing pain, and to me. I have never been in all my life to such a caring clinical team. Each and every one was amazingly thoughtful, kind, and generous. Cannot recommend more highly.

At 4am on a Sunday, our senior dog experienced seizures. I was in total shock and dialed their number. A kind voice recited clear care instructions and directed us to their door. Upon our frantic arrival, staff received us with open arms and wheeled my beloved dog back. Moments later we were brought to her side to usher my dog to the next level. While the experience was utterly devastating, the compassion and absolute professionalism was inspiring. It wasn't insincere but it was short and sweet, which we needed. Swiping your credit card after kissing your baby goodbye feels surreal but when I examined our bill afterward - I realized they discounted us for the emergency response and we only paid for cremation services. We didn't have much of a 'dead dog' fund saved up so this gesture was pretty powerful. Hopefully my review will encourage you to consider this compassionate provider.

We can not thank Dr. Parker, Dr. Lieberman and the WHOLE staff enough. We used to live in Beaufort but now live in Bluffton but we just kept going to our vet in Beaufort because we already had a relationship with them. Our dog was struck by a car and they are the closest vet to our house. They took us right in and treated us as if we had been clients of theirs for 20 years. We are beyond grateful for their kindness and attentiveness to our dog. She will need surgery and we have a little road ahead of us but thank goodness for Coastal Veterinary

Excellent. Dr Molly usually takes care of our Tunnie and Brodie. She is just fantastic, upbeat, and professional. The entire team from the front desk to the vet techs are tremendous. Our dog just had surgery today, and though she is older we trusted the Coastal Vet team to her care and she is up and around like nothing happened.

Very polite and professional staff. They took great care of my Chihuahua on Chritmas eve when I had to rush her to the critical care. They made sure I had all the information for after care to make sure my girl doesn't injure her foot further. 100% recommend!

they were great for my late pup last year when our previous vet failed to refer us to an oncologist when they diagnosed him with cancer and then proceeded to push us aside. coastal got our pup in fairly quickly to offer advice and recommendations and although he only lived for another few months, they were very helpful and compassionate when the time came. however, recently, i have had issues getting my other dog in for urgent visits. twice i needed him seen asap for very concerning issues (most recently he wasn't eating or even drinking water because he was puking it up so i was worried about dehydration) and was told they do not have a hospital to admit him into for observation throughout the day (my previous vet did this) and said we could wait until 6pm when the emergency vet came if we wanted or wait two days for an appointment. i recently got a foster dog who needs her anal glands expressed and they told me they can't see her for 3 weeks. so, basically, they are good for routine visits, but anything minor or urgent, i wouldn't recommend them for.

This place was wonderful. My cat was really sick and needed emergency care. So we used the emergency services provided by them at night. I was so worried about my cat and they took such great care of her. Coastal helped me, by giving me extra meds to help my baby to stay pain free until I could get her in to see my regular vet. I have been really disappointed with my vet lately, grasping at straws and telling me my cat had pancreatitis when she didn't, then not giving me enough meds to keep my cat comfortable during the time it took to get a diagnosis. Also, felt like I was being blamed for the cat getting pancreatitis, when she didn't even have it. I wish that I could switch to coastal, but am not sure they are taking any new pet patients right now.

I brought my Gizmo in on an emergency case. We've never been to this vet but were recommended by Port Royal Veterinarian Hospital our regular vet. And from the time we called and brought him in we were treated with compassion and an abundance of respect. They knew we are 2 weeks from an out of state move and did everything to help us. They immediately got to work on him upon arrival and gave us a very fair bill for what they did. They looked into everything he went through with the shelter and took it into consideration with his condition. Since we were on a tight budget due to moving they also set up a transfer for him to our home vet the next day to help save on the hospitalization costs so he can get the most care possible. They went above and beyond and did everything they could to heal him and have him comfortable. I am forever grateful for them going above and beyond on every aspect.

Unfortunately COVID happened, but why is it that a much needed business establishment has to go from great to almost unacceptable??!! My two small dogs had a simple 2-minute procedure done, which took place in the back of my SUV. When I initially pulled into my numbered stall, called the phone number, said I arrived. Female insinuated that I was wrong about my stall number, which I wasn't! After vaccination, I waited outside for my debit card and receipt for approximately 20 minutes (pacing back and forth near the entrance) before finally opening the front door and asking for it to be returned. Meanwhile, the two female employees ignored me and carried on laughing and chatting with one another inside!! I was not okay with this at all!! and no apologies??!! no thanks!!
